I took my vapor out for its first day, all started well, but did not end well, Im pretty sure the issue was in the eyes, but i couldn't solve it. the trigger response felt delayed wouldn't shoot over like 10/bps, turned the eyes off no issues, eyes were clean and in std for mode and process, breech delay was at 2-25, return 10-35. Used a halo, vmax, and rotor to feed it. Had to go back to my etek3 was disappointing with APE since their board wasnt factory set for this gun APE should have done a better job with their programming.

If you ever have eye problems, it's normally that your battery is dying and isn't getting enough current to the board. I suggest replacing it with a fresh DURACELL.

is it possible for the 2014 parts to make our guns MORE valuable? if they set the Vapor 13 to Vapor 14 upgrade price at the right place do you think the value could go up?

Honestly, vapors are still selling for 800 on ebay. The problem is that PbN brats are starting to feel the economy pinch; they're not willing to pay as much as the marker is worth. And so the sellers are settle for a lower price in order to make a sale. The marker is completely worthy of a $700 pricetag, but people don't have that much money to throw around anymore.
To answer your question, I think the 2014 upgrade will bring the price of a current V3 up, by how much exactly I don't know.

I just got a vapor i like it the trigger screws to make it center keep backing out has anyone has a solution other than locktighting them, also is it possible to get a sling trigger from machine

A small drop of blue locktight works really well; it's a set-once and forget it sort of thing so you shouldn't need to fiddle with those screws all too often.
The vapors come stock with both the sling and the rake trigger....did you lose one? I'd contact Jay@MachinePaintball.com (cc Tech@MachinePaintball.com) to see if they have extras for sale. |

Still trying to be excited about the 2014s but just not digging the body style. Still preferring the previous more aggressive milling rather than the rounded look. Maybe I just need to see a color that I'm into... Love the new pics tough and the colored o-rings hopefully that stays that way.

Yes I have one. Taking both my V1 and my 14 out on the 19th. That being said it seems to shoot pretty nice for the little paint and air I had available. Just need to tune it a little bit to get it to my liking.
Straight out of the box though chrono'd 300, 295,298,293,295.
Not bad for first paint through it. |

A quick shot comparison. Nothing fancy, didn't have a ton of paint or air to make it too official. Both guns had a dwell of 13.
