New to AGD: Suggestions
Hey everyone.
I just purchased my first AutoMag.
I know it's a PTP Micromag and it's a gen 2 since it has cocker threading.
I absolutely love how small and compact it is. I haven't been able to shoot or play with it yet, however I have some questions.
What would be the best way to make this a vertical feed? I really do not want to have to use an elbow and have my hopper sit up that far.
Also, if I decide I don't like having a fore grip, how would I go about adding one?
And lastly, what would everyone's recommendations be as far as upgrades are concerned to make my mag that much better?
Thanks guys!

You need a ULE body for vert feed, however I am not sure if it will fit on that micromag.
You may want to look into the LVL 10 bolt. That way you wont have to worry about breaks.
I had a micromag alot like that. A thing I used to do was put my tank on my back with a coiled remote hose. Its like having a pistol with a hopper

Be prepared for the "Save AO" threads over there where they are asking for handouts. I thought it was going to be much different so I joined and oh boy, took me a couple of days to find out otherwise.

What would be the best way to make this a vertical feed? I really do not want to have to use an elbow and have my hopper sit up that far. right now the only thing is the elbow or direct feed (PTP)... but i am personally working on something. send me a pic of how the powerfeed bolts to the body (single hole or double hole)
Also, if I decide I don't like having a fore grip, how would I go about adding one? PTP has new foregrips and asa adapters, or you could find a used one ask around
And lastly, what would everyone's recommendations be as far as upgrades are concerned to make my mag that much better? lvl 10 kit if you shoot faster than ~10 bps or don't use a force feed hopper
Thanks guys!

the first thing he notices after becoming a member to a AO is the save AO thread. which asks for donations to save all the info, pics, how to's, etc... if you don't feel like donating then don't. they are asking the members that have been there since the beginning to donate if they would like to.
i have been a member on AO since 04 and i have seen some amazing info, projects and more. If you don't like AO don't return but do not bash it.

AGD did not ask members to save AO, members ask AGD to upgrade the site.
Some were willing to donate, some weren’t, it’s not that big of a deal.

3 ways to get center feed. There is a center feed micromag version 4. Another is get ule body or classic body center feed, but with those you also need to get a rail and no longer a micromag. You can get a 2k9 micromag that goes center feed or left/right warp.

Vert feed: well, you need a different body really. And with the Micromag body being a rail/body combo, you'd need the ULE body and a rail to go along with.
Foregrip: Swapping to a rail & body setup would give you access to a foregrip that can be bolted on.
Upgrades:
Triggerframe like the Y frame or Intelliframe would give you a double trigger while reducing the slop in the one you have.
Xvalve gives you the fastest firing mechanical marker available. Also means you can't run CO2 anymore if that's a concern. Gives you the Level 10 setup as well.
Level 10 anti chop bolt system. Self explanatory.
Ultra Light Trigger kit reduces pull force on the trigger, but reduces the amount of RT kick from an RT based valve (Xvalve, etc.)

Haha that's kind of what I got.
I absolutely love this mag and the way it feels and how small it is, I just really want a center feed and maybe a foregrip.

Not at all. He asked for 3 things - how to get a vert feed, how you could attach a foregrip and possible upgrades.
I gave all 3 items.

Don't you know that is the way mags breed. You upgrade one piece and then another. Soon you have 10 other mags.
