I believe so- but I would get in contact with dr strangelove on here if you want to be sure- there is no str valve made.

The Magno ram and the STR ram can both be used with the stock (pre-Magno) valve. Technically the gen 1 gold ram can be used with the Magno or newer valves as well. You may need to adjust your LPR pressure slightly to compensate for the difference in mass of the hammer on the gen 1 ram vs the Magno or STR.

All the ram does is bang the valve open. Lighter hammer and different materials for the internal seals are the only real difference from one generation to the next.

Great. But I've read complaints that the magno ram tends to fall apart after a short while...is this true? Any way to prevent this? What about STR rams?

The Magno ram, in particular some of the later batches of the Magno rams, had longevity problems. The entire purpose of the STR ram was to remedy those issues. They switched to a different material for the internal seals, and I haven't been aware of any issues with the durability of the STR so far.

You can always visit www.angel-verse.com and have whichever ram you buy modded to be rebuildable, in which case it really doesn't matter. If you can find an STR, I'd go for that though.

Yep.

Because the gen 1 ram has a larger, heavier hammer you may need to lower your LPR pressure slightly to compensate, and you obviously will have that extra reciprocating mass, which adds to perceived "kick", but it will fire just fine.
