Too cool for words! Panasonic's SV-AV30 is so versatile, we weren't sure what to call this "digital A/V recorder/player." You'll just call it fun! The SV-AV30's range of recording and playback options is impressive, even for a Panasonic e-wear device — and that's really saying something. It can play MP3 and AAC music files, snap digital photos, capture MPEG video clips, and record snippets of audio.
MPEG4 Movie Camera
With enhanced MPEG4 video, you get incredibly smooth motion of recording 320 x 240 pixel images at 15-frames per second. And with the supplied battery, the SV-AV30/SV-AV20 multi-function AV recorders can record up to 90 minutes of continuous video1. Plus, multiple Record/Stop buttons make it easier to record with the camera upright or on its side.
Video Recorder
The SV-AV30 comes with a cradle for simple connection to a TV set or other analog device. Through this connection, you can record TV programs or play back your footage on a longer screen. And to recharge the battery, simply place the SV-AV30 back in the cradle2.
LCD Monitor
A built-in 2" diagonal, 200,000-pixel LCD monitor lets you review video and still images immediately after you shoot them. And with a built-in speaker, you can listen to audio as well.
MP3 and AAC Audio Capabilities
The SV-AV30/SV-AV20 can store up to three hours of your favorite music in either MP3 or AAC format3.

Imaging Archiving Capability
The SV-AV30/SV-AV20 can be used in conjunction with the select Panasonic DVD Video Recorders to store your still images on a hard disk drive or DVD-RAM disc. Just put your SD Memory Card into an optional PC Card Adaptor and place the adaptor into the PC card slot. You can then transfer JPEG images from your SD Memory Card to the DVD Recorder and view them on your TV.
SD Jukebox Version 3.0
With SD Jukebox software, you can arrange all of your favorite songs by artist, title, or in personalized playlists. And this new version of the software comes with special features like a mood analyzer that can either be programmed, or automatically select songs to match your mood. SD Jukebox also plays videos, and displays digital pictures as you listen to music.
Digital Still Camera
Due to small file size, you can take a large number of JPEG photos without running out of storage space. And a built-in flash helps maintain the quality of your photos when you’re indoors or in low light situations.
