I like how you guys said OSU didn't deserve to be number 1, I mean come on we only won 20+ regular season games in a row and went to the national championship game. Oh yeah, I forgot there was only one other undefeated team (Kansas) and they haven't played anyone.

The best team deserves to be number one. Not a team that doesn't play anyone and moves up solely because other teams have much harder schedules.

That's true, but unfortunately that's just not how college football works.
OSU played the teams on there schedule and pretty much destryoed everyone on it... what else do you want them to do?
It's about wins and loses, LSU has lost and OSU hadn't lost. It would be ridiculous if LSU was ahead of OSU. (Before yesterday) |

OSU played absolutely awful, while Illinois played flawless....pretty much sums it up. Ohio State overlooked it for michigan, or didn't care, or couldn't find a rhythm, whatever excuse its all the same. Its not much different than LSU losing to UK or USC losing to Stanford, but its still pretty bad. Even being an OSU fan, I didn't think Ohio State really should have been #1, they just didn't play like a #1 team, but they just kept winning....but who else should have been, nobody else played any better.

I'd say losing to a ranked opponent on the road in triple overtime is different then what happened to OSU. Fortunately for everyone outside of Ohio they couldn't even make it through that bad of a schedule.

Boeckman just wasn't comfortable in the pocker for whatever reason, and it really hurt the offense throughout the whole game.
Kolder: LSU should probably be #1, but before this saturday if your saying LSU should have been ranked above OSU, that's obsurd. |
