Interesting...
Looks like custom grips will have to be made for the Luxe, G6R, and Axe?

I remember at one point PSP was using a ref that had a sound amplifier hooked output into a program that would analyze the rate of fire and the pattern of fire.

This sounds wierd. What if a company isn't there to tech the certain guns? Also, rewiring a board like that in a paintball marker requires a good amount of time and the right tools. They would also have to put chips in all of the backup guns for the teams. Say each team has 25 guns for the tournament, and there are 16 pro teams. That's 400 guns they have to do.

I'm not a national tournament player but I thought the players of the leagues were past the whole cheater board stuff. I could be completely wrong but it just seems that this is an issue of the past and not the current.

I really don't see why a professional player would attempt to use a cheating board since they are most likely the division that receives the most scrutiny from officials when it comes to legalities of rules. They may be the group that has the best access to cheating equipment but I personally wouldn't want to push it. Personally though if I was wanting to use cheating boards I would be using it in a lesser division where it would most likely fly under the radar of officials.

2009 las vegas, arsenal lost the NPPL series because they got a bouncing gun penalty, and bob-long guns are notorious for bouncing. It is still very much an issue

Edit: shouldnt have said bob's guns are notorious for bouncing, ive just seen way more BL guns bounce then from any other manufacturer

I think it's about time, I wonder if it can detect ramping or bouncy trigger settings.

Why would a team have 25 guns? A 8 to 10 man roster, each with a backup would only have 16 to 20 guns. And a roster will be likely to only have 8.
