Oh well, I won't buy spend that much on one unless they have proven to perfect the balanced valve.

Almost all runs are 'remakes'. It's pretty rare when a gun comes out that functions off new technology. I cannot even think of the last truly unique marker made; the Mini or Marq is the last one that comes to mind.

The JT brand and the price point/features don't really match up. JT has always been, in my mind, the brand for Walmart guns. I was expecting it to fall under the Empire brand but whatever. Maybe Kee is trying to change the stereotype for JT guns.

JT produced quality parts in the early 2000s. They had a line of barrels that were comparable to Ultralites, made the Revy with indestrucable shells, and great masks. They never were a cheap brand until they were bought out. Kee is probably trying to get them back to where they were with the new masks and this Impulse.

Flex 4 LIFE! But seriously, JT was always a good brand back in the day. Of course "brand" doesn't matter now that just about everything but a few high-ends and Tippmann is owned by Kee. But w/e. Looks nice, I'm glad some company at least is still making decent looking markers.

to me the mpulse looks like a 500 dolar gun at most.
not even close to a 1050 dollar gun.

That was Viewloader who made the good shells, it wasn't until they were bought out, was when the shells went bad (cough, Empire/Kee, cough) Now Kee has listened to the community and is going back to the old design. I just wished they went with the Reloader paddle vs the old Revvy one.

Yeah. I think there are too many high end guns out now... There needs to be a bigger range other than four year old used Egos for people who don't want to have to spend a thousand dollars on a gun.

Brass eagle ruined the revvy shells, not KEE.

JT is an iconic brand. One of the few remaining ones in all reality.

It's in Kee's best interest to capitalize on that, and make it a brand that caters to all players. Those players who might buy the low end walmart stuff, or be introduced to the sport through their SPLAT MASTER line are going to see JT as a recognizable brand. Then when they get into the sport, and are ready to spend cash they are going to see the Impuse as a possible jump point.

It's smart, and good to see them making a comeback. Junior has been doing a good job w/ that.

They should have at least put the price in the middle of the axe and vanquish... But I guess its kind of like planet eclipse with the egos and geos... Same quality marker but a different feel so the players have preference

The Axe is around $500 with tax, and the Vanquish is $1500. The Impulse is near the middle.

Also, for the gun that has been released, I'm kinda sad that Kee has not done any more media for it. I mean everyone and their mothers new about the Vanquish with all the media they released. But barely anything for the Impulse

obviously its hard to judge sound signature by videos for a multitude of reasons, but from the sound of this particular video, that thing sounds weird and loud to me.

I can't see the video since youtube is blocked at work. If it's the video where Junior is shooting it against the hyperball tube then it was taken on a cell phone. It's about as loud as an axe with an aftermarket bolt in it running ~150psi.

It is not the video of junior shooting it, it's someone who bought one! it does sound pretty ego-ish in the video but he was in a fenced in area with lots of trees... so lots of echo. Looks good though!
