personally, lcd or oled would both work for me.
But to agree with Fallin...as much as I hate to admit it, there are other guns out there now that are newer, just as nice, and have lots of spare parts readily available. The TAS guys had a plan to re-make it with a few composite parts and some updated internals, but I think Dave actually owns the rights, and he was not on board.
Id like to mod one with an lt etek3 frame. cuts the weight significantly.

Ya I know, but is it wrong to want an updated board for 2012+? It may be the last hurrah but someone will always want/need Somthing and atleast it will be out there.
Say we make 50 boards. Once in a lifetime run,never again..wouldn't you want one of them? Besides I'm the one gonna take a loss if anything. I'll just need to make a website or sumthing saying Hey, I have x amount of boards left.
The weight never bothered me really. I could make a Hoseless Mod for the quest. Would Basicly need a new frontblock/lpr and a dedicated Asa. But that's going way to far ..

I would.pay $200 for.two.pled boards. I really do enjoy my quest. What's the was quest guys email? Hell, of he could just update them to do ramping 12.5 there would be no issue either. I was thinking of using a 2k5 Timmy frame for an LCD out the back. I'm currently in a weight training and weight loss program, so weight on a marker doesn't affect me. of of did, I'd not be playing as hard as I do.
Edit I would be fine with just an lcd screen. Just tired of constantly.counting blinkos. I would be willing.to shell out $$ for an LCD screen board with grips as well.

The key is taking good pictures. Next sunny day go outside and take some pics.
If I remember right most of the faded were 1 off... Your quest was for sale for a long time though before it was yours, but it was posted with ****ty pics.

I just got home from playing  . Some douche bag kept coaching during open play, so it really wasn't all that fun to have your position called out from a fat *** on the sideline. I put some paint in the netting a few times to shut him up, but that really didn't quiet him long. I have a feeling that only a Twinkie could successfully accomplish such a feat..
Quest was playing backup duties to the NYX, and so it's presence was unnecessary this weekend. |

I may slide the frame all the way back and build a front block where it's basically slid back, making the LPR not stick out as far, and not having an obscene gap between reg and trigger guard. Always hated that look.
Don't know if the Lucky UL chip board can handle the power needs of the noid, either. Stock won't, but maybe the lucky one will? Also have a spitfire chip for it. Or UTB.
Can't do much more til I pick up my Mac 43 noid tomorrow from a buddies (by stealing out of another project gun's build) and get the LPR/front block.
Plus this is my ION UL frame, so I don't want to cut the front off of it. I guess I can always re-make the Ion one, really simple actual frame mods.
