I own a V2 Clone and the lighting in the screen has gotten so dim i cant even read anything anymore.

The gun still shoots fine. I just hold the on/off button a few seconds to power on or off, but just by looking at it i would have no idea if the gun is on or not.

New batteries, updated software, no result. This is a new screen too, i replaced it about a year ago for a different reason.

Any suggestions?

Plugged in all the way? Brightness on 5? If so you may need a new screen again.

Yes you will need a new monitor.

thanks for the replies. i think i will try to troubleshoot with another screen and see if thats indeed the problem.
