For some reason my cocking on the Pranha keeps going in and not auto cocking why would it be doing this?

Have you properly lubed all the O-rings with synthetic oil?

Which Piranha do you have?

Its not recocking?
1. Reg pressure- Turn it up.
2. Valve in backwards?
3.Check the hammer o-ring

Try those first

It's probably the hammer o-ring, I bought the Deluxe Parts Set the other day off ebay w/ a squegee for $15, but you can probably get it cheaper.

My Piranha was having the same problem, I needed to recock it after every 5-10 shots...I replaced the Hammer O-ring on it and it works great now.
Open up your gun and make sure the O-ring on the hammer is blue, if not it needs replaced. I bought my gun used with a mask, hopper, and a tank for $30 and had no idea that the idiot that owned it before me put a standard tank O-ring on the hammer.

If it was working OK before then try stripping out the back block with bolt and hammer and clean all the parts as well as the bores in the main body. Oil the bolt and hammer as well as wiping a bit of oil around in the upper and lower bores and then put it all back together. I'll bet it works fine now.
