Does anyone have a problem where the ASA comes lose every point? I use a brand new ninja fiber wrapped tank so its light... i slide on my arms and never let the marker hit the dirt. Sometimes it gets so lose that it breaks the orings on the piston.

dab of threadlock (blue loctight) will do. Make sure to tighten BOTH screws.

Pink teflon tape (the one that has threadlock imbedded in it) yes, white teflon tape, NO. You want to increase the frictional co-efficient, not make it slicker.

Today was the first time that my Vapor decided not to work right. Like it was on strike. I tried every bore the Vapor came with even my Disruptive Kit and the Lurker Barrel and the balls just kept exploding in the Barrel. Re-did the settings, Clean and re-lubed the engine, Bumped the Dwell, the FT screw... you name it I did it.

But then I switched to the Demon Same thing and my Ripper was popping paint in the barrel as well. So I'm going with 40 degrees and Formula 13 don't mix.

Could have been a bad batch of paint

the formula 13 has been garbage lately. At least at my field, the stuff starts to sweat and looks like this after just a few hours. I store my paint in the proshop too, so it's not like it's outside in the heat 24/7 either.

Also, if anyone is having trouble with their vapors, I've been using with mine for a month and a half straight (every weekend) without a single problem what so ever.

PM me for my settings if you want to give them a try. It's been flawless and it shoots great.

i have to agree with you, im also not a big fan of the grips and also the stock triggers... just never been a big fan of mag return...

but i have messaged them in thier facebook page, this is what i got:

"We have a bunch of new ideas that we have been tossing around for the next generation of the Vapor and some other 'things" we have in the works."

If you dont like the magnetic return get a ss screw for the trigger and the problem is solved.

i ordered in one of pooty's vapor triggers so once it gets here ill give more feed back but judging by the pictures it's what im looking for, im the same as you reg i like my triggers a little further away from the grip. nothing beats the classic "S" or the scythe shape triggers.

Anybody mind posting up their settings? I bought my vapor and it came with some settings from Jay@Machine but I think they seem off... like my bolt return was at 5, where everyone else is saying 25-35.

Also it wasn't consistent at all... like when ramping it would go from 290-290-290 and then drop to like 260 or something. While the majority of the time it was in the 280-300 range, I even had a spike up to 317.

Gun was used, has v2 parts. I assume I should rebuild the reg?

Also how many pods is everyone getting off of a 45/45? Thanks!

5 pods and a hopper is what I was getting on a 45 with. 4k fill.

I found that the v2 can you would get the ocational spike in crono. I tested it today. The v2 can is more efficent. However, less consistant. Ill be going back to the v3 red can.

That's depressing I was seeing people getting like 8-10 pods.

I was hoping for at least 7 pods + a hopper.

Maybe its time to get a ninja 50/45, or maybe 68/45.

Edit:

Will give those settings a shot! thanks!

I think you're thinking of the breech delay....

Bolt return = after the marker "fires", this value is how long the marker waits for the bolt to move backwards before it checks for paint. Too low of a value will cause double-fires and potentially chops, too high of a setting limits your ROF (but you're not firing 30+ bps anyway so who cares)

Breech delay = when the marker is sitting idle, this value is how long the marker waits once it sees paint before it fires. In other words, if it sees paint, it'll wait for 6-8ms for the paint to hit the bottom of the breech and settle down before it fires. Too low of a setting WILL cause chops, too high of a setting limits your ROF (but you're not firing 30+ bps anyway so who cares)
