I think that all things considered this field had like a month to prepare for this event, how much better will it be if they have an entire year to improve. Rick and Gizzmo work hard to ensure that every small detail is covered, MAO should stay here for years to come.
I'll just comeback for #7 on your list.

Good: crab cake sandwiches the size of your fist, good grouping of divisional fields, OUTSTANDING responsiveness to mud with gravel, great grass fields, great drainage, covered area with tables
Bad: remote field location (fewer spectators and mainstream public), mud between fields, distant walk with large empty gravel area between parking and field that could have been used for select parking (saw a V-spec CTS that was not likely leaving under its own power), music that carried over past the buzzer on pro field occasionally (Friday).

Yes, it is nice to allow staff to have premium parking location, but most every where I have worked the staff has distant parking (except current job).

Thanks to all the staff at OXCC for all their hard work during this event. We were there during the Friday Monsoons and I thought it went well in spite of the rain. Not much you can do when it is raining that hard but they definitely were trying to be sure everything was ok. Putting gravel down, thank goodness for that big quonset hut near the snack bar.

Gizzmo saw me and took the time to introduce himself and welcome us, which was very gentlemanly and showed good manners.

I am glad we were able to get to an event even if it was just for the day.

Thanks to everyone at OXCC, I am sure we all have no idea of just how hard you all worked to pull this past weekend off.

I was extremely impressed with this event. Best of all the North East(MAO, NJO, NEO...) events I've been too, no doubt.

Our field was run superbly (Empire) all event. Reffing was fair, teams were good, and the field dried up amazingly.

Best staffing to date as well, with constant upkeep of the grounds, and the shuttles! And not a dime charged for parking, despite that some of these other event hosts love to bleed us dry.

OXCC was a great event, will definitely return if it makes a repeat.

All in all the OXCC staff was on point. They did everything the could to keep the fields, parking and the shuttles running smoothly and they did it very well. I would suggest maybe re-thinking the layout if it comes back. The walk from the divisional fields to the pro field was sort of a hassle when trying to bouch around to see/help teams I have friends on. I also wish it was in a better area, half of the fun of National events is visiting a Major Metro area. But again, the fields we awesome, the staff was awesome the golf carts were awesome.

Thanks to everyone who made it happen.

Yeah Rick & his crew were great. Got lots of random rides around the event which helped with dragging paint, gear and camera equipment around.

Certainly hope that the PSP goes back next season as they were really making the effort to make sure things ran smoothly.

Fields not being back to back was a plus as well, killed off the chance of false starts from other fields.

The fields were on a slant, but it wasn't too noticeable once matches progressed. Kind of automatically adjusted to them.

I thought the event layout was great. I do have one complaint please do not put the porta pots right next to the pits or spectator areas ever again.

I dunno, dealing with the smell wasn't an issue. It was nice being able to have something that close for in between points or right before your match and stuff.

Had a great time and thought that the OXCC staff ran the event very well and smoothly. I've always been a fan of how they run MAPL & they continued that when running this event.

Looking forward to next year

i'll take the slanted fields over any flat field. did you see how fast that field drained on friday after it absolutely poured?! i was shocked. even the start gates that didn't have much grass were dried out and not mud.

venue was awesome (but still doesn't beat phoenix)
