You watch your goddamn mouth you WHORE! I've <3'd Moss since he came into the league...even when he was a Raider......gross....

See below...

Exactly. Physical ability for a receiver includes having good hands

You can't call a piece of **** player like that the best ever just because he got on a good team and stopped acting like a hood rat.

Hutson belongs in the top 5 of all time greats, but guys like Chris Carter, Moss, Rice, and even Tim Brown would go ahead of him for me. Hutson lead the league in all those stats but who else was playing WR in the NFL at that time to even challenge him? There wasnt much because of the aforementioned era he played in. No one was really throwing the ball in those days, at least not to the degree they started to in the 60's and especially the 70's.
You hit the nail on the head. The league has turned in to a huge pass-play type of game.

I think some of the greats from back in the day, would quite possibly be average players in today's league. For example, if the 72 Dolphins played this season (as they were back then), they would probably be something like 9-7 on the season.

Imagine Reggie Wayne, Moss, or anyone like that with Tom Brady, Manning, or Brees throwing the ball back in the 1940's. They would absolutely destroy every team they played.

Hutson and Rice had class that moss doesn't. I doubt they were ever detrimental to their locker rooms and have taken part in winning title games

Are you really trying to say that Randy Moss does not have good hands? I can see people saying he doesn't go 100% all the time, or he's a headache, or other arguments along those lines, but to say he doesn't have hands? Have you watched the guy? He regularly makes unbelievable catches.

I've never heard John Madden laud about how Randy Moss has "big strong hands" like he did for an entire super bowl with Larry Fitzgerald . I never said he didn't have good hands, but I certainly don't think his hands are the best in the league.

I'll say great, but I don't think they are the best in the League.
