Lol doesn't this happen every year a new marker is released? They can only make so many changes or innovations in a year, so a few different pieces ad polished ano are what you get I guess.

Well, sure. Thats why PE stopped prod of the ego right? I mean, give me a good reason I would want to sell a dm12, add another $800 or so on a new gun that is pretty much the same, and then be able to look back and say "wow, that was worth it"? Not in my book.

IMO the best dm was the dm6. And I have a feeling it will stay that way for a while.


One thing that they really should have figured out by now is the macro less design. How *** the two largest manufacturers(Dye and PE) of tournament guns are the last to incorporate this? I'm sure there is a reason, but I'm not so sure it's a good one.

So the window on the dm12 is gone. Also the 'tech' logos on the bottom appear to be the same as the dm12's. Nothing too different stands out otherwise.

I know that my local shop's techs HATE working on macroless markers.. Their reasoning is that it never really made sense to get rid of macroline, there is nothing wrong with it and it works! Dye will never put an OLED board in their markers as well. I consider this staying true to who they are IMO. An OLED board should be an aftermarket upgrade, not a stock part. Putting a stock OLED in a marker is stealing business from the aftermarket (market) and companies such as Virtue or Tadao. Everyone needs to exist and share profits to expand the sport. Just my .02 cents.

Their reasoning is that being able to air a marker up with the grip frame separated from the body, makes it MUCH easier to tech and diagnose various problems.

Dye has stated several times to dealers that they would not go macro less for teching reasons and they would not go to an OLED because it takes away from aftermarket sales. Both the above posters are correct in those aspects.

Its pointless to go macroline less, you wont EVER see a company start off with a macro line'd gun then go to a macro lineless gun.

It cost way to much money and they would have to redo a whole gun, and completely change it 360
