it's taken almost a year, but permits have finally happened.

equipment is on site and progress has begun. Look for a soft opening around first to middle of September.

IMO Chesapeake Paintball Complex sounds like a serious name. It lets customers know where it is and what is it, which could potentially draw more new comers than something like Actiontown. Our sport needs growth and growth doesn't happen when outsiders don't know where to go.

Also have Hampton Roads Sports Complex, HRSC, too much??????

I personally would stay away from labeling it Hampton Roads anything.

I am still wondering why hampton felt they could just thier place the Hampton Roads Convention Center, like its the only convention center around.

I like Chesapeake being in the name

Chesafreak Action Sports, or whatever.

I've never played airsoft so IDK what they think of us, but I don't see why airsoft players would care if paintball is in the name of the center. I've never seen an airsoft tourney, definately know they do scenario. But Paintball is gonna be the main draw. Action Sports is a coverall I guess.

I'm gonna have to agree that it should just be named CPC. More first time players will look into playing paintball before airsoft. And naming it Chesapeake sports complex still confuses people as to what it actually is.
