We beat detroit last year in a loud as **** detroit stadium, and had a gajillion penalties. That wont happen this year.

The player that beat us on the Giants is now on our team, and they are sans a RB who is also on our team.

I see one loss by the bye if we lose to greenbay, whos defense is terribad, so realistically, i see us at 8-0 by the bye.

Yeah, there's NO possible way you guys regress or anything. Head coaches in their sophomore year NEVER do worse the next year, especially when they almost go to the Super Bowl in the first year.

Honestly I'll be surprised if SF is as good this year. Yeah you guys got a pretty good WR from us, and Jacobs who will always be my boy, but neither of those guys is gonna change your team that much unless Alex Smith can consistently air it out. And I don't think he can.

This team is built to be sturdy. Regression isnt in the playbook, and Alex finally has a second year OC for the first time in HIS ENTIRE CAREER.

Our 4 losses last season:

Dallas in overtime by 3 lousy points, in the beginning of the season when less then 1/8th of the playbook was installed.

Baltimore where they had to fly across the country on a short week after a sunday night game. This gave exactly 1 day of actual practice and game planning. This is called a scheduled loss.

Arizona Cardinals, a game we should have easily won because they are a terribad team. this was the only real "upset" of the season.

NY Giants because of a botched kick return. If that isnt luck then what is?

So if by regression, you actually mean losing more than 1 game by something other than a hope and a prayer, then yeah...we might regress.

Also the year before Harbaugh, we went 6-10. Bad record right? well 6 of those 10 losses were by 3 points or less with an incapable coach, a QB who was constantly Booed off the field, and an OC who didnt know X's and O's to save his life.

If you think they will regress, i think you have a rude awakening headed your way. This team has had the talent for a long time, and now they have a capable coaching staff to organize that talent and put it to good use.

we won 13 games without having to have smith air it out except for one game, and he did it admirably. we were a kick returner away from the owl...

im failing to see how adding better wr's and another *possible* bruiser back is going to make us worse then last year.

remember, our ENTIRE defense is back from last year. and our line can only get better from the draft
