I'm guessing its your device. I have both a Motorola H500 and H700 paired w/ my PS3 and they both work within seconds of powering on.

Try setting up UPnP on your router. That solved all my PS3 online issues. No more port forwarding, and so forth.
Just setup a static IP to your PS3, then setup UPnP in your router. You should be fine.
My XB360, Ps3 and Wii all are wireless and all work fine.

Long story short. It auto forwards the required ports to a device. So if your PS3 requests a few ports, then UPnP will basically setup temporary port forwarding and forward those requested ports to the device. MInimizes weird issues since it will get what it needs from the router side.

Good rule of thumb for the PS3. If it's gonna rock... it's gonna install before rocking.
I might have to upgrade my HDD soon in it.

My cousin Stephen (HK E-berger HK) was killed in a car accident earlier today. He was only 16 and just got his truck 3 weeks ago. While i dont pray, however it would be nice if you could if you believe in that. Thanks guys.

UPnP is enabled on my router already, and I did some research on google on my router
WRT54G Linksys
And a lot of people are saying that if I disable it, it would correct the bugs

If you setup port forwarding manually it may correct some things, but I have a WRT54GS and have no online isuses w/ either mY XB360 or PS3 with UPnP enabled.
The thing is that it tries to give devices the ports they want, and it is possible something else might steal the port. Which can sometimes cause the problems (your PC, or another system, etc). Depending on your network (if you dont have a 360 setup) try setting up static port forwarding.
Google PS3 ports, and see if you can find a port list and setup manual port forwarding to a static IP for your PS3.
The only reason I chose UPnP was the PS3 and XB360 share a few ports.

My sister being the dumb**** she is, went to a fortune teller and guess she was somewhat accurate with my sisters mishaps. But, I guess she asked if my sister has a brother and she said yeah, and the fortune teller said right after I get my license or temps, I'm going to get in an accident and screw up my knee. The color of the car is going to be red or burgundy.
Guess what color the car that my dad won, it's red. Guess who is gonna try to drive to Columbus to go to Crew games. Me. Guess who decided not to now. I get my license is 17 days.
But sorry for your loss.
