Marq Issues/Questions HELP!

My marq 7 (with proficiency engine) has been leaking down the barrel. I had tried some normal fixes (replace engine and poppet o-rings) to stop the leak but had no luck. I took it to a tech and after checking some pressures and replacing some o-rings he has concluded the poppet must be done for as the leak still persists.

I'm hesitant to send it in to blast as I've only heard bad things regarding how long they take to work on stuff and get things fixed. I do know they do great work though!

My question is, what can I do at this point? I can't seem to find any place selling just the poppet. No one seems to have a supercharger upgrade kit either. I'm not really able to drop $160+ on an entire new engine. If I can find a SC kit can I just drop that in on my proficiency engine and everything will work and my leak *should* be fixed?

Replace the orings on the blast guide, and check the donut for scratches.

Donut is good. I'll switch out those o-rings.

I would also make sure the donut is free of any and all lube. As Matt at BLAST says "clean it, you should hear a "squeakeekeekkk " sound."

the proficiency engine has a brown donut not the white delrin one.. if that has any sort of nick in it will leak down the barrel.. also check the poppet for any damage the smallest little mark will cause the leak. you can find a pe engine on here sometimes if you get someone who just sc their marq but they are getting harder and harder to find.. for the best work a blast certified tech is your best bet though

Got my hands on a pressure tester. LPR gauge doesn't read anything. Not sure whats up with that. LPR is set and put together correctly.

Could be a bad gauge on the tester. I have a Vic, but just had a leak down the barrel I couldn't fix. I changed every o-ring, properly lubes and swore the donut was perfect. Replaced the donut as a last ditch effort and it fixed the problem. The old one looks perfect but still caused my leak.

Scratches in the donut is damn near impossible to see.

If youve replaced the orings, always swap the donut. I've spent HOURS banging my head against the wall only to have this be the issue.
