Why does GFOA not have a forum on Nation?

They have never gotten pb nation to make one

Most of the series with forums are regional, while GFOA is primarily just a local series. Might have something to do with it.

PBN has a few requirements in order to have a subforum. When GFOA first tried to get a subforum the requirements were not being fulfilled by other series who have one so it didn't seem fair to try. Back then GFOA was having to deal with the backlash from another series trying to shut them out. My opinion is GFOA speaks enough for itself on PBN and on FB.

I just liked the formum style on nation with mulitiple conversations... I find alot of times when you have questions about something, 9/10 times it has already been asked.

Well it's 3 hours closer on average and a cheaper series.

indeed im not an "expert" nor do i claim to be one. damn right im intiteled to my opinion this is after all a free country. and how exactly does being an expert (in what exactly) have anything to do with my opinion on the gfoa please enlighten me, last i check i nor does anyone for that matter need to be an expert to post a comment on an open thread related to the gfoa but in case i missed that rule please tell me page/chapter/paragraph so that way i make sure to read it.

How many GFOAs have you played between playing both psp and nppl.... While I'm on that topic how many psp and nppls have you played..... And did I miss read you play over seas to.... Making a comment about a local series being a card board box is strong statement for a experienced player they tend to support the small local events that feed those series. Sure your not just a Internet baller.

ruffled my feathers oh darling it takes alot more than ruffling feathers for me... yes i do play overseas show me where exactly i stated that i didnt support the gfoa its not that i dont support the gfoa i do appricaite the effort the staff/players put into it however i think the cfps is a much better series any day of the week than the gfoa but again thats my opinion of which im intilted to.

Sweet so your buying beer at both Dallas and Huntington .. And for some reason the app doesn't show APPA . And I would love to play a mill event ... They don't use APPA so I could play d5 with you.

I've played 9 PSP events and 11 NPPL events, I think. 1 WCPPL event, local stuff in CO and Utah...umm that might be it. 2 RPL's.

And 3 GFOA's.

When I first came I heard some bad news about the reffing, the structure, pretty much everything you hear about tournaments all the time. I played the July event at OTP, September at Dosser Works, and November 7man. I didn't have a single problem with reffing, cheating, format, schedule, paint, food, staging, anything.

I think the only worry this year is that MiLP is trying to make a stronger presence with Georgia teams and some teams are hopping over. I wouldn't call the GFOA a cardboard box though.
