Does everyone hate AKO/DKO?
I'm not sure what the other branches DKO affiliate is, but jesus ****ing christ i hate AKO. Just wondering if You guys share my hatred.

When it first started it was ok, but now it's a total waste.
Non-CAC access is a joke becuase it locks you out of most of what you go to AKO for (iperms, my pay, etc). And then it became a dumping ground for so much useless info that you can no longer find anything.

In my case, Im on an AFB in korea, so none of the security certs. will work. Its terrible trying to get mypay or ALMS working.

Mypay doesn't need to be accessed with a CAC, I do it all the time with a user name and password.

Yeah especially the SSD classes on AKO. They freeze all the time and make you start over like 45min-2 hours worth of training

I strongly believe that AKO was created by approximately 1000 different organizations or individuals and linked together haphazardly by a drunken idiot. It is the perfect example of how not to create a website.

I gave up on SSD1
Got to module 3 I think and ran into a glitch or something. It's stuck on a page and the "next" button does nothing so there is no way to get any further. Spent a long time on the phone and sending emails back and forth with the so called "help" and they cant fix it. Been like a year now and still no way to finnish it. That **** is critical for all promotions e-5 and up and it doesnt work? ****ing retarded.
I know my plt sgt has been trying to get SSD3 done for the last two months as he ran into a simmilar problem, keeps freezing making you redo hours of work and then gets to a spot you cant get any further.

That's exactly what happened to me. It gets to a certain slide and it can never go passed it. It freezes there and no matter how many times you try and no matter what computer you are on, it will not work |

AKO is ****ing bull****. It just got put out that by october 1st if you dont have level 1 of SSD done there will be consequences. My AKO was locked for the better part of a year. Now the last lesson of module 1 wont load. Took me a month and a half to get a response from them. And its still not fixed. A pregnant toddler monkey with downs could make a better website.

The search function on AKO is without a doubt, the single most horrendous thing I have ever tried to use in my entire life. When I am searching for anything, it always brings up SSG Dickface's word document that he for some reason uploaded to AKO because he is to stupid to email it to himself for storage.

Honestly, after how many years at this and they still muff it up?
I always told anyone if they wanted to get to me, go through my gmail, yahoo or work account as it was so much quicker and better to deal with.
Pity that you need it to get to the rest of the hoopla that is career-centric (now that S-1 seems to have gone on a permanent break) and on your back to prove/disprove, etc.

Apparenty you havent used TWMS think AKO/NKO and then double it... It even has the same courses so once you do NKO you have to go back and do the same ****ing thing in TWMS..

Good to know I'm not the only one.
Since they moved AKO email to enterprise, trying to check my email is like trying to win a snowball fight in South Africa.
And trying to complete SSD1, if I didnt need it for E5 I'd say screw it!
