Well from my own tadao I can tell you that they are 10 times better than
Virtue.

They chop less and have laster longing battery life.

And they are durable.

I think that they get 15 bps I'm not sure though.

But I think that the Tadao for the Ion gets ramp.

To put it the best way possible, Tadao is great.

Like I said better than Virtue and the stock Ion board.

I had a Tadao THump board in my DM5. I have a Virtue in my PM6.

Honestly I like the Virtue A LOT more. They're both solid boards. You said you read up on the Tadao, check out the Virtue board. It's about the same and has some awesome features. Not to mention the Warranty is very good.

any board with eyes won't chop unless you mess with settings a ton. the stock ion board goes 15bps, all boards do. tadao is my favorite though. i honestly wouldnt spend the equivalent of the guns value on a new board.

no get a feedneck and a qev. otherwise you will lose air very quickly, and the stock feednecks are bad so get those 2 upgrades first. i think that for just playing during the weekends you'll be fine with the stock ion board. you can't ramp at most fields, that means no OMFG mode anyway. ion board goes 15 bps, and im pretty sure stock ion doesn't chop but maybe you wanna get different eyes not a board. oh and i'd get a good barrel
