Oklahoma D-day 2013 German 709th Infanterie RECRUITING

We are recruiting now for the German 709th Infanterie Division on Utah Beach and want players who will bring their "A" game.
I am Bonedrag XO for the 709th German Infanterie Division on Utah Beach for Oklahoma DDAY 2013 and if you want some intense combat, this is the unit to sign up for.

The 709th is not for the faint of heart since our enemies attack us 360degrees.
Full frontal assault with rangers and airborne airdrops on our rear... Think that is enough?
Try this-the allies hit the beach with infantry and spec units but with armor as well.
So AT players are more than welcome.
The Allied side throws all they’ve got at us at game start and we fight hard all day.
So if you think you have what it takes to survive Utah Beach and take the battle to the allied horde join us now...

There are NO age restrictions or physical requirments for the 709th-we welcome everybody-and this is a great unit for those who are new or seasoned veteran scenario players.

Utah was nuts the time I spent there last year. If you truly want to be in the thick of it slinging paint from game on till game end, join this unit, you won't be disappointed.

Let me know what you're thinking as far as camping goes. I know that we're going to hold down our regular spot this year, but we'll be much more active with the 709th throughout the week than we have been. Also, Bonedrag, let me know if you and anyone you're bringing with you wants a shirt. They're forest green with white letters that say "PTFO" (play the fu**ing objective) on the front and "Oklahoma D-Day 2013" on the back. Should be less than $25 a pop and if we get enough 709th interest I'll place a bulk order and collect money at the event. Looking forward to June.

Alright, I have posted a link below with a shirt design. Hopefully Bonedrag and/or Aztek have a larger email list for the 709th so we can get a shirt to everyone who wants it.

Will do chef, I am gonna wait to give you mine till end of the month because a few of my buds might join and I am sure they will want one...

Ok need to ask this, on the camping grounds is there a place to shower because I am just bringing a tent and some supplies for the week n would prefer not to rough it all week and come home smelling like crap... Just prefer if to not a must have lol

They've got showers there. They get pretty ugly by the end of the week so bring a pair of sandals

Keep in mind that at D-Day the showers are supplied via an on-site well. The water has a high sulfur content....not harmful, but for first time players....different. The advantage is that ticks don't like the sulfur. Personally, after a long hot, humid day, the cool showers are nice and the smell is no big deal.

The showers are ok, as long as some *** hats don't wash their cloths or boots in the showers.

Did I mention ticks? There are ticks at D-Day. Pre-treat your cloths and bring a good bug spray.

Staticline is correct, there certainly are plenty of ticks to deal with,
but the sulfur water issue has largely been dealt with since they
installed an aeration system last year. Still some of the smell, but
it's not nearly as bad as it used to be and like he said a cool shower
is a welcome thing at the end of a hot day in the field.
