while dessies put out good dps, they have far less tank than a cruiser...some of the missions that have energy neuts can be a ***** though...its hard for anything to tank well when you dont have any cap lol, although i didnt know there were neuts in level 2's

make sure you're using eve-survival's mission reports so you know what missions you're flying into. it really helps to know if the frigates have scram/web in missions. almost lost my tengu once or twice because I didn't bother checking. probably your best mission tool

I did check it and didn't mention it unless the accel gate was unlocked I could have went right tothat I guess.

i lost a tengu in a plex once....lol that was fun. only reason it was funny was because it ended up being a total ****storm and everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

serpentis hq part 4/4.

we brought a bunch of guys since its one of the harder plexes....did fine the first wave, one guy brought in two logis, we had everything under control and he goes "afk 10 seconds to get a beer, nobody die"

...then someones drones attacked the station and we got all 4 waves at once.

like 20 scrambling frigs, 25 cruisers/bc's...and another 20 bs plus an officer spawn on top of that.

officer spawn insta pops both logi's, then we proceded to lose a tempest, two ravens, and my tengu....the amounts of "oh ****" on coms was the only thing that made it funny. ratting in a drake to earn another tengu was not fun.

also im playing hookey from work today and will probably be on/offline today. hit me up if you see me online and need help running a mission.

What's a plex mission?

short for deadspace complex. you get them from running anomalies (hideaways, hubs, havens, sanctums) that sometimes gives you an "escalation" and they are usually on the harder side with different difficulties. that was one of the rarer/harder ones.

Get a Broadsword to tank the missions, works like a charm.

when I do guristas 10/10s, i just use a shield tanked ishtar and a basilisk. Then I just bring a dps ship like a tengu or something.

the normal serpentis 10/10s are pretty easy. you can solo them in just a t2 fit tengu....the HQ would have been a nreeze if aggro didnt get messed up.

Decided to train for Retriever since my mining right now isn't very productive and I thought I might as well take 5 days and train for that roughly while I wait 14D to T2 my BC

still gotta get those few upgrades skills to 5 for the t2 stuff eh? at least the ones for t2 hardeners and stuff arent too bad, they were usually skills you did anyway since they gave an obviously big bonus.....training for t2 weapons is a bit of a pain, but worth it.

Yea, the 14d is for the weapons lol. My armor and stuff is basically almost t2. Weapons are the big one I am waiting for.

so jumped out of 0.0 and into ihak wile our allaince reforms.. ran a 5/10 900mill in 45 mins..

pasive fit shield ishtar tanking and a full dps tornado gets things done. i run guristas 8/10 and below no problem.. i can tank the 10/10 accept for the em smart bomb or torp would rape the ishtar

Anyone recently have a small 2 or 3 person Corp war dec them and then have these mercenary corps offer help for isk?

most fleets are SF or AF (shield fleet, armor fleet) and you can find one easily if you're in a nightmare, machariel, etc..
