MacDev.net Forums
Hey guys, its been a long time since ive been around here or even played paintball for that matter. I was and always will be a die hard MacDev and AKA fan so its nice to be back. Since im done with college and would like to get back into paintball i decided to go with a macdev gun yet again. The problem im having is i want to stick with a mechanical gun so i can control my paint usage a little better. Theres a sonic cocker id like to buy on the macdev forum but im not getting a confimation email with my temp password so i cannot log in. I was wondering if the user selling said gun is known to be on pbn at all or if anyone knows him and could help me get in contact. The users name is S2-Crimson. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That Sonic Cocker is beautiful. I can message him and point him to this thread as I'd assume he has a PbN account!

It would be greatly appreciated if you could do that. Odds are this will be the only gun i buy in the foreseeable future if i can get it. MacDev and the community have treated me well in the past and id like to stick with everyone in some form even though i cant afford the newest and fanciest stuff out there anymore (at least until i get a steady job again). Hopefully all the time and effort i put into college will pay off for me so i can play on a regular basis.

Already messaged him
I love the MacDev community as well so I certainly understand where you're coming from. I'm sure that prioritizing college now will ultimately allow you to buy whatever gun you want in the future, but that Sonic Cocker looks like a sweet choice for the time being!

Sorry to say that the guy just messaged me back and said it had already sold on another forum. Didn't think that one would last too long...so rare and in perfect shape. Hopefully you can find something else that will suit your needs!

O well, i figured ot would go fast as well. Thanks again for getting ahold of him. I know its a long shot but if you or anyone else runs across a mechanical undrilled sonic i would be great if you could pm me or something. Ill just have to keep an eye open. Theres a green one for sale on here but the price is kinda high imo. Anyway ill stop the rambling now. Lol

Good to see you Junkie. I remember you from the AKA community as well. I loved my AKA hoarding days and they were amazing guns, but since I switched over to MD I'm even more pleased. All the good qualities of AKA markers in an up to date package. Welcome back and I hope you find a gun that you'll enjoy for years to come.

You could always get an electric gun and cap it around 8-10bps. I know its not ideal and nothing compares to the feel of a good mech gun but it you wish to stay with macdev, that may be the easier route.

Hey ghost, i feel the same way. I miss my mq bonebrake and dcf reverse swirl a lot. Macdev was the ideal switch and ive loved every gun ive owned by them. My old droid was the absolute nicest gun ive ever owned and the rx wasnt far behind.
I would get an electro and cap it but then whats tue point of hqving a faster gun if you arent/cant use it. I also hate the feeling of a gun shooting slower than i pull the trigger. I would much rather be held back by a mechanical gun that i cant shoot fast than electronic settings. I think that makes sense. lol

Makes perfect sense and is 100% understandable. I just figured if you were happier shoot macdev than any other mech, or having to wait to find a macdev mech, then this seemed like a viable option. I mean if you are desperate, you could get a spare trigger and cut the bottom half off, essentially making it a single finger trigger. This would make the rate of fire feel more like a mech and less like a capped electro. Again not ideal but just trying to think outside the box to get you back to macdev
