hello, im looking for some people to run with and possibly latter on join up with im kinda new the sport. have played with family at both area 52 and The Pits. but looking to get more active this year as i have been told i need to get out more. so if any one is looking for a new rookie to have around as fodder i would love to join up. also i have military background so i do listen to orders and love the sport. im 25 from peoria and just looking for some fun and a group to run with.

Try to go to pekin paintball park , a lot of people play there , they have all level of players

Make sure to check out all the fields in central Illinois! All have great groups of people running them and friendly players. Area 52, Chilli, Pekin, Sudden Impact, Salt Fork, Firemark, Urban Warfare...hopefully I didn't leave anyone out.

2 big events coming up at Sudden Impact: Spring Pump event this weekend, and a big game the following weekend.

It's been like 5 years since I've been to SI with all the No Limit guys. Are you all still playing? How's SI been doing? I'm playing on ISU this fall and i'm needing some good players to break off my rust from the past few years!

But side note, any of you guys know about any fields that are closer to the Quincy/Macomb area? It's no mans land down here now...

You might catch one or two playing here and there but most are old and retired

SI is still alive and kickin'!

Don't think there are any fields in that area either....you are probably looking at a drive, no matter where ya head. SI and Pekin are your best bets for central Illinois.

Both about 3 hours away:/ What about CIA in murrayville? Or Maverick, Riversplat, and Atomic Paintball? Anyone know if those places are alive? I'd love to play at SI but its just so far:/ last time i was there i wasn't even old enough to drive ha! This time the gas expense will be a reality

Is there good competition out at SI everyweekend still? Or is it hit and miss?

Also the fields I listed are all around an hour to an hour and a half according to PBnation. Just not sure if they're still around or not.

I am pretty sure that Murrayville field closed within a year or so. No idea on the others. Just not much going on in western Illinois that I know of, sorry man!

Yeah it's dead around here, that's for sure. How's the airball field at SI looking nowadays? Did they buy a new set of bunkers, or is it still pretty much the same? I'm thinking of coming and playing sunday morning, but I need a tank to use for the day since I'm still needing to rehydro mine. Do they rent any 45/45's or 68/45's?

Well it doesn't "look" the prettiest, but still gets the job done!

I don't know if they rent tanks or not but I'm sure they will help ya out.

Not sure who will be where this Sunday. Pekin usually always has players Sunday mornings as well.
