The South Western side of the state is a wasteland (Green river, Rock Springs, Wamsutter, etc) The Eastern edge is grassland (Cheyenne, Wheatland, Douglas, Gillette). The NorthWestern and North Central are mountains (Jackson, Teton NP, Yellowstone, Cody, Graybull, Sheridan, Story, Buffalo). The center is rolling hills and a low mountain range (Casper, Kaycee, Lander, Riverton).
Crime is low.
Public eduction is better than National Ave (and better than surrounding states).
Unemployment is way lower than national ave.
I like it here and I've lived all over

I agree with this. Someone could easily enter a mall or movie theatre strapped with 3 pistols and kill/injure a lot of people. Thats why its complete bull**** that businesses have a right to put a sign on their door saying no firearms, completely taking away the way to defend myself.

I don't agree with the bans but saying it doesn't do anything is a flat out lie. These rifles are much more effective at killing than a handgun. That's like saying we should give ground forces in the military M9s because they would be more mobile instead of an M16. If you can force a gunman to use a pistol with a smaller caliber instead of a rifle with a larger caliber, you've saved some lives.

Option C: Glock 19 with backpack full of ten round magazines. Like the VA Tech shooter.

Bud, ar15 uses a small caliber. The bullet is only .003 larger than a .22

You really seem like you don't know anything about firearms.
So what if someone uses a larger handgun caliber instead of a small rifle caliber?

No, you wouldn't.
VA Tech shooter killed more people than Aurora and Newtown. Columbine killers used pistols and shotguns.
Stop believing the lie that it is the gun that is dangerous. It is not. It is the person who wields it. It's just as capable of use in self defense as it is in a mass shooting.

.
The "assault rifle" that people are targeting is clearly the AR15 which in 95% of ARs, the .223/5.56 round is used which is a smaller round. I don't understand why people believe the media over people who are involved with firearms. That's like me ignoring Derek Jeter and listening to Skip Bayless over how to play baseball.

You seem to be confusing military operations with shooting a crowd with intent of killing the most people possible. The analogy makes no sense.

I was talking about the damage given in comparison to higher energy rifles than pistols but it's ok if you don't understand.

It doesn't matter
Shot placement > kinetic energy
A 12 gauge shotgun and .44 magnum revolver deliver more kinetic energy than an AR15.

I'd prefer a gunmen with a revolver than an AR15, fewer casualties. Fact is, you could get shot in the chest a few times by a 9mm and still walk around but if it's an AR15 you could pull a few pounds of ground beef out your chest, well, the coroner could.

No, you can't. Not when they puncture your heart, rip through your liver, or destroy your one or both of your lungs.

Depends on where you are shot, barrel length, distance from the gun the victim is, etc etc etc
