Normally I would agree with you, but those two little pinion gears sticking out the front would nomally confuse someone that has not seen an LT1.

See if Alan will split it with you

If I sell my vette I'm buying an lt-4.

Plugs are kind of a ***** on my l98, I had them done with the header install. It took me 15 minutes to do them on my BMW lol

Just finished changing the plugs. Really not that bad considering the front of the engine is missing, and there is no a/c compressor. Took maybe 30 minutes! Now running the wires will be a *****, but that's for later today.

reliable power that is.

Currently I think the record is in the 900 on an LT1 stock block, new internals of course, but it's only a track car.

400-450 can be had reliably out of an LT1 for daily drivers.

I am close, but not quite there yet.

I'm pretty happy with my lt1. I beat on it like it owes me money , it's been quite reliable for me. When I first built the engine the cam I had in it, I was shifting at 6500-7000 most of the time with a stock shortblock . It took it all day. I'm at about 360rwhp. *shrug*

If I did it again, yea it be an ls, but for now it's not .
Edit:

Mine doesn't have the opti spark either though

yup I'm just gonna use the BBS for show/street. I have stock 17s with nittos that I'll probably just use for the strip/auto x

right now I'm probably just a little over stock..maybe 340rwhp. I still need a tune

i have 19 inch ccw's, easily the most awkward size when shopping for tires. was looking at BBS reps after I found out we have a BMW pattern, but i need to save some tax money lol our cars have some nice wheel options though, i like the way the euro styles look on them.\

Edit- Did you disconnect PS lines or just unbolt the rack?

yeah I liked the reps, CCWs, some VMRs, and stock 18s.

I did both. Dropped the rack and disconnected the lines. Do you have your gaskets that go in between the midpipes and catback? I didn't and no one local had them. I had to special order them. I also refilled the power steering with ATF 4 fluid

Old Pic, I guess they were chrome but p/o had them painted. god knows what he was covering up.....

285/30/19 on the back 245/35/19 up front

I have the gaskets luckily. I figured I'll do a good PS flush while I'm at it, maybe swap out lines if time allows. Did you put the vararam on yourself? what did you use to cut the shroud?
