The Best Eclipse Forum Sticky Yet!

THE BEST ECLIPSE FORUM STICKY YET!
(imo)

As it has been said several times the ego forum has way too many stickies which makes it hard to find clear, concise answers to questions easily. For a while I have compiled all the information that I have written as well as many others from other stickies and made this uber super magnificent sticky. I don’t just want this stickied, I would like all the other stickies to be de-stickied and only the rules left and put this page in place of it, and also allow the threads linked here to remain unlocked so that they can be edited and commented on. As always I am open to suggestions and comments so feel free to post or pm to tell what you think so that this can truly be the best sticky yet and set a precedent for other sections of pbnation to follow.

Thanks to people that I took information from
(if I forgot to mention somebody sorry, tell me and I will add you)

EGO REFRENCE GUIDE
This thread includes links to various pbnation threads that include pictures, videos, settings, planet eclipse information, contact info for PE, quick reference numbers for your manual, and maintenance videos from planeteclipse.com

NEW TO EGOS GUIDE AND FAQ
This thread has all the information to get a non-ego owner up to speed on this marker, as well as simple answers for new ego owners, included is a short FAQ

DIAGRAMS, EGO STATS FOR STOCK AND PRIVATE LABEL
As the title suggests this thread has diagrams, statistics including weight and basic dimensions, and a comparison of all the private label egos to a stock ego.

EGO VS ________
This is a comprehensive comparison of the ego to some of the most popular guns today to make your decision in buying an ego that much easier.

BOARD AND TUNING GUIDE
In this thread there is a complete breakdown of all functions of the ego board and an easy to understand definition for each setting. Also included is a walk through guide in changing your settings to keep your ego from bouncing, and a dwell and lpr tuning guide to get the best consistency and efficiency from your ego.

EGO UPGRADE PAGE
This is a complete list of all upgrades available for the ego as of this date, manufacturer, msrp, and picture are all shown.

EGO TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
This is a simple easy to read trouble shooting guide that goes a little more in-depth than the manual and helps to solve some common, generally user error, ego problems.

i know this will seem like spam but those other threads shouldn't be stickied only this one.
Those can fall into the deep depths of pages long since passed. All i am saying is to sticky this thread which links you to all those other informative posts.

i believe you did and i gave you credit for that because i used alot of the link in there for the refrence thread.
See the idea is just to let the other threads fall into obscurity, no posting in those is necessary, but this links people to all those redone sections, all i did was taking existing stickies by people and organized them and improved them, instead of having 2 faq's, several different picture threads.
You get what i am saying.
If a mod could i am asking them to desticky all the other stickies except the rules and replace it with this one thread. The other threads don't need to be stickied anymore, and i understand that was your idea french bum. I would more than happy just post the other topics and you add them to your list but it was locked so you can't edit it remember.

didn't we conclude that 'Ultimate Stickies" with links to all the other stickies were pointless? i understand that this would be the only sticky if it went there but like... theres no real point, if they wanted to set it up that way a mod would have put it all together, leave it the way it is... why waste the effort when half the people dont read them anyways

How does the Ego 6 fit into all your comparisons? It looked like the comparisons were based of the 05 Ego's. Unless there isn't that big of a difference between the 05 and 06. Thanks for all the info by the way, my mind is pretty much made up that as soon as I have the money an Ego 6 will be in my hands.

I noticed that in your vs sticky you said that the ego's got a 10 for weight and matrixs recieved an 8, but ummm, the dm6 is lighter than the ego 06. I know because I'm gonna buy one or the other. what's up with that

when the vs. thread was created, there was no DM6 nor EGO6 in existence, that is all

ya, and like said above the dm6 and 06 ego weren't released when i wrote this
and now somebody will through numbers of a dm6 with no reg, no barrel, no asa and then compare to the ready to play minus hopper and tank ego and say the dm6 is lighter..... it happens all day long
i will get around to editing a couple things due to the releases

I really like my dm6. Shoots really smooth and i love the trigger. Im guessing its basically preference. The only thing that the ego6 has over the dm6 is efficiency but most tourny players gets free air so its all good. The dm6 IS lighter than the ego06 if you were wondering. Only thing i didnt like bout the dm6 is its performance in cold weather. However a different lube should help that. The UL frame is very comfy and cool! The pm6 is also another nice gun.

Its basically personal preference. If you buy either guns you'll be mowing peeps.

Proof that i know what im talking about
He has both and says the dm6 is lighter. mwahahahaha
