Who runs your Facebook page? I think it is EXTREMELY disrespectful for you all to post a pic of the two larger guys then basically request people make fun of them. You all should be ashamed! How about y'all post pics of yourselves and we can make fun of y'all?

Of course it matters that the very people you are trying to defend don't want you to.

We've poked fun of pro players and skinny players and their fail dives dozes of times without asking. We even featured a guy with no left arm who goes by "nubby." Just because these guys are big doesn't mean they are so delicate they need to be handled with kid gloves. They are paintball players. They are tough. They can take some gentle teasing.

We love the fact that people of all shapes, sizes and ages can play paintball. They deserve some attention. Plus, their jerseys are way cool. And those deserve some attention too.

I am sorry if we hurt your sensibilities, but it didn't seem to faze them.

Number one...he goes by Nubbs...not Nubby. That is hardly relevant because you were showing his persistence and drive dispite his handicap which I applaud. BUT anyone that speaks to Ryan for more than 30 seconds knows his handicap is something he has owned and not used as leverage.

Two...the picture was posted with a caption to intice ridicule; which worked. They were offended until you went back and corrected yourself. He states that on his Facebook page pretty clearly. I mean this kid might have been on the verge of suicide because of bullying. I've been there. Ironically this happened to me in 05 after pics of me playing were posted here on PBN. It was a very dark time in my life and some member posted a pic on the CFOA forum and it brought on a lot of hurtful/negative comments. The difference is...that was a member, not a moderator. I wasn't asked and I'm sure they weren't either.

Three...if a member had posted that on Paintball Talk etc. it would have been deleted and the OP banned or infracted.

By the comments on Facebook it looks like you have offended a pretty good amount of people.

And how do you know they aren't taking it that way? Because they say they aren't? Just because they seem like they are okay with it doesn't mean they aren't being hurt by it. I will be the first person to make fun of myself, but that doesn't mean I want complete strangers degrading me. If you were really trying to promote players of all shapes and sizes you should have really thought about how you were going to word it. You have been doing this PBN thing for over a decade, you are smart enough to know what people will say. If not, you have way to much faith in society and people in general.

(I use the royal "you" as in PBN of course)
