well a northern city is not supposed to host an owl without a dome, but of course they had to make a BS exception for new york.

I saw where the weather stats for the previous 3 years in NY during the time of the Bowl. The temperature wasn't anything to bad but the conditions were snow, rain, snow I believe.

Who's idea was it?

the initial reasoning was to bring money to the area 911. it should have happened in 2003 though, not 2014

remember when jacksonville had the superbowl? i think its safe to say they will never get one again after that dumpster fire

Jacksonville held the gator bowl long before the Jaguars were a franchise, it originally opened with like 70k or so then expanded for the Super Bowl and gator bowl and the Florida/Georgia game.

Outplayed, yes, but you guys got horribly dicked by the officials. That whole game was a sham. It was THAT bad.

It is a ****ing travesty. New York *****es and complains until they get they way. I hope this storm thats coming this weekend doesnt decide to show up during SB week next year or even worse....during the game. I'll be beyond pissed off if that happens.

the Superbowl in ny probably has something to do with them having a new stadium. aside from the potential weather problems new york is a good venue and has enough hotels to accommodate all the travelers which a lot of nfl cities don't have. Miami doesn't have a dome and i remember them saying that we wouldn't get the Superbowl again due to the high chances of rain here. i think it was expected to rain when the saints played the colts over here and that was a huge issue. imo the Superbowl should be played in a dome every year.

It should absolutely be played in a dome every year. The Colts/Bears SB was a sloppy ****fest of a game for the most part, and a ****ty mid range snow storm is not only going to ruin the game, its going to directly effect the outcome, and its going to be miserable for the fans. Its one thing when its 70 degrees and raining, its another when its 37 and raining.

Tonight at the *** ****ing we gave Florida, I realized why college basketball has such a huge following. I've never really got into it, most hog games wouldn't fill 3/4 the arena, no real energy. But tonight, it was ****ing nuts, I haven't had that much fun at any sporting event at college so far, including football games. I couldn't imagine being at a good basketball school. Hopefully Anderson has another '94 run in him.
