But if you're like me and modes mean nothing to you, than get the pm5. The pm5 would out perform the pmr since it's a balanced spooly, and has a lpr.

Is a dm7 worth the extra $150 over a pm8?

Ye iam looking at either a new dm7 or pm8. Only differences i can find are dm7 wired eyes and nicer trigger vs PM8 having the hyper3 reg. So is the extra cost of the dm7 really worth it. But i think i can find both new for same price anyways.

I am in the same situation. How does the dm7 have a nicer trigger when they both have UL frames? Where can you get new dm7's for $750? Can anybody help us three guys out with some type of break down on why one is better than the other?

the pm8 trigger on the one i tried in a local shop had alot of play to it. Like side to side motion felt to loose for my likes.it seemed to have a longer pull. Which iam sure can be adjusted. While the DM7 was nice and smooth with almost no side to side play.

And the price thing i found 1 Dm7 in one of those EBay stores for 749 new. Which is the same price of a new pm8.

Ohh ebay, eh I hate that place lol. Hmm I just figured that since they were both using UL's that they would be the same but I guess not. The cheapest I have found them NIB was $900. I just dont know if there is any performance gains in one over the other. I dont mind spending the extra $150if it will shoot better.

ye iam having the same issue it. If it shoots better ill pay the extra. But ive been told they are almost identical. Wonder how much better hyper3 is compared to hyper 2.

I heard but dont know if it is exactly true that the hyper 3 will let you get an extra 2 pods. So the dm7 felt better? I would like to shoot both then see which one is better but dont have the chance to do it.

A new DM7 can be had for around $799 brand new.

Dm7's have mired eyes and also come stock with some of the things that would otherwise need to be changed out like a UL barrel and the airport. The DM7 will shoot a little bit smoother due to it's lower pressure.

I would go with the DM7. Performance will be a little bit better and DM's look dead sexy.
