Mervin makes lib tech gnu and rosy, 3 huge or at least rapidly growing companies. Their boards sell themselves and last week had a guy from turkey call my little store in long island so he could come by 4 skate bananas. These are American made and manufactured. I know that's not exactly what u meant but just some info...
If these are over 125 I won't buy them. I'll stick with anon, Oakley, or even some electrics which are a little too abstract in color imho

Totally makes me wanna take up freestyle skiing or boarding.
Then again, I'm too old and those are dangerous. I'd permanently break myself. Paintball being a not extreme sport ftw.

I like the graphic textures for these goggles... they need to put these on their paintball gear.

I personally couldn't give 2 ****s about these goggles. Why? Because this is a "Paintball News" thread. Looks like an i3 frame with a new strap.

So what do these offer compared to what snowboard/ski companies already got?
Looks like DYE is just trying to sell products by image alone... which might work for paintball, but is it worth venturing out into a different market when it's all you got up your sleeve?

Not sure how I feel about someone who knows nothing about the skiing in California making ridiculous comments like this.

they look nice but im sure they will be overpriced. and i think i would prefer a snowboard company that has been making snowboard goggles for years, maybe down the line when dye snow has been set and rooted deep.

not with an attitude like that it wont!
anywho, im sure dye actually did some research and hired wintersport experts and took pointers from other products that were already put out. they just wouldnt put out a product used for something that they know nothing about

Very true, I hope they don't just put in a normal lens.

If paintball is bigger than snowboarding, why isn't it in the X Games already or an olympic sport?

DON'T HATE, APPRECIATE!
And why shouldn't it be on the "Paintball News" thread? It's one of the biggest paintball companies in the industry branching out to another extreme sport. And also, a lot of paintball players snowboard/ski

Paintball News Rules |
- No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
- Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
- If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
- Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
If you have questions, please post them in the Talk to Mods/Admins forum.
