If I had to pull the trigger *RIGHT NOW*, I'd go for a repeat at WZ only because it's the most central.

Like I said in the other thread. I know one of the fields down here will be ready and able to handle a NCPA event you just give me some info and I can talk to them.

Yeah man thats where I was talking about. I understand the driving aspect but as you said farther south means warmer weather. lol I was just throwing out places outside that we could use.

I vote on plex. I dont want to drive back to WZ again.

If theres a way to figure this out soon so we can plan financial s. Also so if we want to play on the field that will be at this tourney that would be sweet.

Plex is 3 1/2 hrs from Saginaw, Warzone is only 2hrs 15 minutes. CRU is 30 minutes away for us.

why would we plan an event around a team that hasn't come to one yet? as compared to helping out IUPUI who has driven long distances twice?

I didn't say to plan around us, just the small difference it would seem to move from WarZone to the Plex for some is a big different for people driving from Michigan.

We have some iffy clubs that can't be counted on so I have to be objective towards getting at least the minimum number of teams to have a legit event.

We need 6 teams from at least 4 schools <-REMEMBER THIS!

IUPUI: 237 miles

Cru/Flint, MI:
SVSU: 40 miles
UMich: 54 miles
CMich: 90 miles
WMich: 130 miles
Miami: 298 miles
Ohio U: 316 miles
IUPUI: 319 miles

OU has 2 lines that *maybe* they bring. Miami is an unknown after they failed to make WZ. UMich is only taking one.

You have till Thursday to discuss with your players and have your team captain/president/spokesmodel **PM** <<<LOOK>>> **PM** me:

1: Closest **AND** farthest you're willing to drive
2: How many lines you're LOOK >>>100%<<< LOOK solid you can bring

If not enough teams by that point...season is damn well over at that point.

But like I've been saying: Alot of this will be set up over the summer so this won't play out this sketchy next season. Sorry about that...just after how things went last season, we just played this season by ear b/c we weren't sure how things would roll.

Sunshine. We might roll two teams at this next tournament but for sure will roll one. Im telling ya i dont like a 320 mile drive but well do it if well have to. I know were greatly appreciated your trying to work with us on distance. We would have made it to the first event also but we had some management problems.

I never said that either and I'm not saying that we are not willing to drive. But with how the interstates work in Michigan, travel time and be greatly effected depending on location.

FOD would be down for a event but I understand that is a drive for everyone but it gives us a chance to play outside.

I cannot give you a definite answer yet, but I am positive that WMU will be attending the event, and I'm ALMOST positive that we can make any of the suggested locations.

I say this because we don't care how far we have to drive to play some good 'ol paintball

Ok, it's still early but something I need to (re)iderate:

All of this discussion on 'where' is conditional on Chaos/Charlottle, MI not being anywhere close to playable by the 2nd week of March **(factoring the available 10 day weather forcast)**.

If it looks the the field will be dried up enough by then, we can run at Chaos as orginally planned. But if the place looks like it's going to be under 6" of snow or melted chocolate ice cream, then we can go with either WZ or Plex.

We (league) don't want to reneg on the earlier agreement with Chaos but if things aren't going to look good for them by that time, we want to make sure you guys have an event somewhere.
