Even after putting the score up the 8-4, they didn't slow down in the slightest bit and pushed even harder to rack up as many points as they could.
Imagine what it's like to watch FGCU play and put up the kinds of scores they did all the way from prelims. Even if you watched them play and thought you had them figured out, it has to be intimidating to look at the scoreboard tick over to a zero and keep going every match. That's what they wanted: to get in everyone's face and look impossible to beat.

Amazing what an attitude like that can do. I didn't get to watch them play too much but they surely fought through even up 10+ points

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they beat down every team they played?

That's what I thought. So I'd say that the title of this thread is pretty accurate.

Congrats to my dudes on FGCU for the victory, ya'll deserved it.
People are going to ***** about "dirty play", but there is nothing wrong going out on the field with the mentality that you want to make the other team scared to play you.

congrats, they did it once. if they can do it twice then i will agree with the thread title. i know you're a florida fan boy since you are there, but try to be a little more realistic.

Considering they took first at this years Class A Nationals, first at the Collegiate World Cup in October, and first in AA at last year's Nationals, I'd say they're doing pretty well. In fact, looking at their complete team history, it seems they have a pretty consistent record overall.

They were very impressive to watch all weekend. Very strong fundamentals and mentality, they went out there to win and win big, and that's what they did.
Congrats to them, they clearly deserved the win.
Just curious- maybe someone from the team or close to them can answer this- how many players on the roster are Juniors/Seniors? Obviously they had tremendous individual skills, but when you play with the same people for 3-4 years, you gel and play that much better together.

We will more than likely keep the same players throughout next season. None of us graduate for a while so we will be practicing hard for that repeat!
