Yeah Gerbings is like the one brand to go to. Not sure if I can justify the cost of the gloves, plus the wiring and controller though.

Read your owners manual, it will guide you through adjustment.

I WOULD adjust it but I have no idea which screw it is. I don't see any obvious ones.

HA owners manual? like my dad still has that. I can't seem to find one online either. You need to buy the paperback versions and have them mailed to you

tank slapping?

My mother in law brought home a 2013 883 today. We were checking it out in the garage and she let me ride it. Took it around the cul de sac and proceeded to drag the left peg by accident. It's got like 14 miles on it. Oops.

I'll still play, but from the inside of a paintball tank at CDWC. Shooting nerfs are tanks and hosing people from inside an armored up gmc jimmy while taunting them over the PA is a hoot.

Did she hear it scrape? I did that to my dad's Magna right when he put forward controls on it, we also live in a cul-de-sac. He never noticed and has scraped both since

If you're afraid she'll notice, you'll have to bust in to replace it and steal the evidence -.-

I was on the other side of the street, she never heard it. It's better off not even mentioning it.

Anyone riding up north this weekend? Thinking about heading out to the Catskills or Berkshires, either the wife in tow or riding with me.

That's a race ready bike, for tr cost of making it street legal you could get something else. There is a beauty 99sv on nesr

Yea buying a race bike for the street seems a bit counter-intuitive...

If I was in Maine right now I'd by that '99 sv650

I just meant for the bike in general. I saw that it's race ready which is why I was wondering if it was a deal. (For track related things)

Just hoping it doesn't cost too much, but I'm going to do a lot of "might as well" stuff while I'm in there like replacing the rockers and the pushrods... once I get a new cam in it, and new lifters (I'm almost positive a lifter is going out, or the crappy INA inner cam bearing) it should be fine for well over 100k. Just previous owner **** ups, which are super common on any old harley.

I just rode a 2013 883 and I was pretty unimpressed. Just not really what I expected given the way people talk up HD.
