why not? if they have the skills and the mental ability...there are 16 yr old pro tennis players

yeah age is much less of a factor in paintball then in sports like football or hockey, only phsical requierments is holding a gun and running unlike football ect.

Tyler harmon was pretty young too. Legacy had a young player (13-14) who was pretty good, but he burnt out pretty quick. Honestly, I would say go for it if thats what you want to do. But dont try to make it your life, not going to college to play pball is an all to common mistake, and with the industry how it is today, very few will make a living or even play for nothing anymore.

Now a question: Dave, when your looking for a player to bring up, would you rather look at a younger player (under 18) who has the raw talent but lacks experience, or someone older who has some experience but may not be as young and nimble? Do you think it would depend on what type of player you are trying to replace (front or mid/back).

When I say mid/back, its more or less mid/fill. Xball doesnt really have your traditional back player, but guys are more or less "front" (running or run and gun to primaries) with "mid/Insert" more or less shooting off the break at or around home and then filling to whatever side needs it.

Youngest: Shaun Janson and Doug Greim - 19

As for what we look for in a player - someone that fits in with the players we have. A bad apple can ruin the whole bunch very quickly. After that we're looking for someone with the raw talent who is willing to listen and learn.

haha...just to touch on that...I dont see myself as getting "not as nimble" actually I dont even feel sore the next day (unless its the first day abck after a loong break but that would be nobodoies fault but my own for not staying in shape)

If I ever feel, or my teammates feel I am getting too old, or not as quick etc. i will more than gladly step down, I am all aboput 187 being the best it can be I believe that has ALWAYS rang true of 187's roster...in fact hardly ever (none that i can think of) anyone leaves the team under bad terms...

In fact we name bunkers after former players
