Production will begin sometime after.

Supposedly they're suppose to have an electronic grip out in a few month....I'm holding off until then!

Zap is in the begining of August. I can't make it because I am getting married the weekend after. The future wife won't let me go. Bah.. I told her, "I'll come back there aren't that many women at paintball tournaments!!" but she still won't let me go.. Go Figure?!?!?

Centerflag grip for cocker...not that great!!!

I saw the prototype Centerflag grip on an Autococker. Looks good and all. The only problems is they are only going to be making them with a semi auto mode. No auto or 3 shot burst....boring!

Semiauto is all you need.

Hey Centerflag, I know you can't disclose much, but can you tell us this:

1)will they be single or double trigger or both?

2)can we use dye sticky grips with them?

3)is this a full electro conversion or just the grip frame?

4)what is the ballpark cost going to be?

5)for those of us who can't make zap, will there be a website with full review and pics?

Thanks for whatever info you can give.

I posted a thread about this but then I saw this thread I went to MMG this past weekend and stopped by the CFP tent. In addition to having the full product lineup for sale he had a working prototype of an autococker hyperframe. As far as I could tell it was a finished product. The 2x trigger was wide and had NO extra play. I could fire it just as fast or faster than my angel. He said he was working the final kinks out of it and it would probably retail for ~500. The cocker he had it on was using a bomb 3 way. I didn't get pics but i'll check around with other people who were there. It is all you need for an electro conversion, if you have a solenoid controlling a normal 3 way there is no need for more wiring and different solenoids. IMO this is a FAR better solution than a F5.

What were the grips like? Were they plastic or rubber? Thanks for the info.

it took standard 45 grip panels. You could use your precious dye stickies.

Still stinks!!!

I also saw the proto at the MMG. The problem with it was the guy there said they were only bringing it out with a semi auto mode! What's that about....high rates of fire he said! What! That's what i want to see...just how crazy can I get my gun to shoot. Imagine all that accuracy of a cocker pumping out many balls per second. Too much fun, and they won't let me have my fun! Guess I'll be waiting to see if the WGP electro grip is any better. I would imagine it would be seeing Bud's designing it! Woohoo!

Since the NPPL rule is going in to place, it doesn't make much sense to make anything other than semi-only. Most fields don't allow anything other than semi, so the only place you could use non-semi modes are in the back yard and at big games.

FA is so blah... with this trigger you can easily shoot 10+ bps continuously. I thought I would turn my angel to FA at MMG just because I could, I never even bothered... I could fire at the max rof (~10) without chopping so why bother.

True....

FA isn't used often. I do like the fact that the electro grip would eliminate most of all the ball chopping in the cocker since the trigger is electronically controlled and not physically controlled by your pull. I guess FA wouldn't be that big of deal then.

Even though the Excal doesnt have a full auto mode, the way I have my Excal trigger setup I can shoot full auto with no effort. I cant see any reason to go above the 10.5 factory set ROF. Any higher and I will get skipped shots or the bolt will stop on a ball.

I am sure most electro triggers can be set to give you some kind of sustainable trigger bounce, which will give you a full auto effect. What I mean by "trigger bounce" is where the gentle rocking of the gun is enough to fire the trigger when you finger is on it. My trigger is so light, I just push on the side of the trigger and it fires full auto. Lightly tap it for 2-3 round bursts.

Soory had computer problems..
To answer some questions

Wildeman:
1) Double at this point.. You can always cut the trigger..
2) No.. The internals stick outside that walls of the frame. and into the grip panels. The panels are actually milled. and are plastic.
3) Frame only.
4) $550
5) Watch for it @ www.centerflagproducts.com info will be posted when production begins.

Also it will be limited to an absolute max of 13 BPS.. That is not because of insurance or anything. That is the max a cocker can physically shoot and shoot paint. THe SEMI mode only is because of NPPL and Insurance rules for next year.

Thanks Centerflag. I'm really looking forward to seeing this when it comes out.

Btw, I've heard the racegun frame has a choice of trigger style. i.e. stick, double, single, etc. Just something to think about.
