Thumbs up good mid level pump

I love T2's and S6's but can't afford to spend that kind of money on one. I am lower ranked military and have 3 kids. So I was wondering what are some good mid priced pumps? I really want to jump into some pump tourneys this years..

Open Class or Stock Class?
I use a phantom for stock class but I often switch it up to modified stock class with a 13/3000 on a bottomline instead of the 12 gram changer. But you still have the 10-15 round tube. If you don't like the pump over the barrel you can always buy an undercocking kit.
If you're looking to play open class then I find a cocker would be a lot better, they generally have a much lighter pump stroke which can help. I use an oracle sometimes, but I find I always go back to the phantom for some reason.

The Empire Sniper is a fantastic value, but CCM really are as well. Buying used should definitely on your list of things to explore.

This!

The used Snipers and used CCMs both hold their value well (at about 80-85% of the new price), so it depends on how much you want to invest. If you're new to pumps and not sure about your future, then go with the Empire Sniper. If you know that you're going to play pump for a while, bite the bullet and go with a CCM.

I don't know what class it is but I don't want to use 12 gram carts. I would also prefer a hopper but have played 10 stack tubes before and it didn't bother me much.

Thanks for the input man, I have been leaning really hard towards the Empire Sniper but I guess I will wait it out and get a ccm T2 or S6. I plan on playing it for a long time.

you can pick up cocker on here used for about 250-300, that are pretty close in performance to a t2.

I didn't say it performed just as well, but from my experience the main factors in performance of a pump marker is fps consistency, efficiency and how light the pump stroke is. I found that the differences between those factors in performance in regards to a t2 and autococker pump to be fairly close.

I've got a 2k sniper with ccm pump kit, ccm .45 AT frame. Paid 220 for it and would do it all over again, rediculous smooth pump and 285 +/- 2 on the chrono. I get compliments all the time! Can't go wrong.

Edit: btw I had a empire sniper before, though they are lighter than my current setup mainly due to milling, the pump stroke on the empire is catchy and in my honest opinion is a deal breaker.

When you have changed all the internals to ccm then of course it performs the same not a regular 200 cocker with a pump kit

If you are just starting out playing pump, I would suggest buying a used autococker with a pump kit. Should be able to get one for around $100-$200. If you really enjoy it you can trade up for a Sniper or CCM when you have the funds. And sell the first one for about what you payed for it. Most pumps seem to hold there value if you take care of them.

Pump Gun Classes
Stock class - 12 gram CO2 and Horizontal Feed tube that holds 10-15 balls (use 10 rnd tubes to reload)
Modified Stock - 12 gram OR horizontal feed (H - Feed with HPA tank)
Open Class - Any hopper and any tank

I use a 10 round feed tube but it is at a 45 degree angle and a 13/3k tank on my S6. That makes it open class. Hope this helps.
