i picked up what i believe is an airsoft "quick mag release pack" holds 4 mags and it has elastic bands that keep them in, its a molle style so i put a baseball belt through it to hold it tight and i wear it like a pack with the openings facing down.

on the tag it says "military bag pouch 56-614 DEPLOY POUCH size 120-ROU FOXOUT" works really nicely.

Just got a T8.1; im really not sure what type of loadout i will prefer in the end. luckily i make my own gear for the most part, so im just gonna start off with a battle belt, mag pouches, dump pouch, and holster. ive got six mags total; just made this molle pouch assembly. we'll see how it works. the mags are fit in pretty snugly so hopefully i wont have problems with the open-top setup.

sorry if it's been asked before but im really thinking about getting a pistol. Leaning towards the RAP4 T68. Does anyone know if it is capable of taking the First Strike rounds?

Thanks!

The RAP4 T68 feeds regular paint only.

If you want a semi-automatic, inexpensive FS capable pistol, the 8.1 is really your best bet right now.

There's a TPX FS conversion kit "coming", but it's not yet available, and it's estimated to be $70-$100 on top of the TPX price.

The BT SA-17 will fire FS rounds, but each round needs to be hand loaded right now.

There's an expensive and small batch paintball revolver called the DRV that's around $600 that you can load 5 FS rounds... but $600+ could net you an 8.1, lots of magazines, and lots of first strike rounds.

thanks for the info. Been doing more research and the 8.1 really seems like the way to go.

When the fields allow it. 2 Crosman 3357 .50 caliber spotmarkers (circa 1986).

Couple weekends ago, at Wanna Play Paintball, on the speedball field, with my last shot of the cylinder, hit a guy with a perfect center goggle shot against his custom made double barreled pistol (he admitted later, he had put 2 balls in each barrel, so a 4 ball assault came my way).

Yes, the left grip panel comes off and install inside (the grip panel actually clips to the cartridge), it gets about 40 shots off a 12 gram CO2.

I used to keep an Overlord RX as a backup but I never dared use it as a primary. About 2 years ago I picked up a T9.1, disassembled it into a pistol, and haven't put it down since.

I've really liked how I've evolved as a player using just a pistol. It's helped teach me how to pick my shots and exploit player's mistakes. There is also no better feeling than bunkering a group of players with just a tiny gun.

Did I mention its a lot cheaper too?

Ask: New with T8.1

Hey anyone knows a problem with T8.1 I got a magazine problem, it keeps leaking out air. Sorry I'm new in paintball. Just got the T8.1 and freaking kickass playing with only 2 mags (2 other has this problem). I like it so far. Nice videos you got there MIDNIGHTANGELZ.

I use the TIPX tippmann pistol and i love it. I am very accurate like with my real pistol. LESS WEIGHT and more of a realistic challenge because I have to count my shots and co2. I love it again. I am considering dual wielding with a remote line too

I've been running a pair of dual T68s as my primaries. However, I recently got my hands on dual T8s to add to the arsenal. Pistol play is the only way I know how. I tried going back to a full size marker and just feel so bulky and wasteful.

I use the T8 and love it, very accurate little bugger and makes for a compact setup. Tempted to go dual wielding with the extend mags if I can find them, give me some extra fire power!!!
