Condition of the fields
Hey gang,
Thinking of going to HSP on Saturday the 27th but with all the rain we had, I was wondering how the fields look, both scenario and speedball (dirt)
They have some drainage problems and the puddles can become very deep and slippery PLUS the foul order is awful.
Thanks

this place was awful...
1) prices sucked
2) employeees are useless w/ horrible attitudes
3) no gun tech
4) TONS of a-hole players
conclusion: its a free for all if you play there. shoot them before they shoot you, that includes your "team" not your friends. players wont get out when theyre marked but continues shooting. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME FOR A WALK ON.

HSP is one of the worst fields I have been to in a very long time. When I went there we were on the dirt speedball field which was a wreck. Now I am not picky (Velocity, SC are my comparisons) but having chairs holding up rapidly deflating bunkers is pretty dangerous. The refs were nice but they definitely did not want to approach management about anything. Actually, everyone working there is nice and approachable just hesitant to accommodate even the basic things. On the Friday night I went, they closed the speedball field early without notification. There must have been 15-20 of us on it and they closed it at 8pm (despite advertising that it would be open to 10pm). They said it was because of lack of utilization. On another day, we arrived at the field, and they said they were not even going to bother to put up the dirt speedball field. On this day there was no notification either; neither online nor posted. They actually let us pay to play and said nothing. When asked for an explanation, the manager was uncertain and did not have a clear answer. They really wasted our time, they weren't even apologetic. That's on two separate occasions. The only thing this place is good for is a refund. I can't vouch for other days but be very careful on Fridays. I will not be going there unless there is a tournament and I have to play there. I can't say anything about scenario (definitely the bread and butter for the field), but speedball is a secondary thought for them (and you feel it). Try SC, at least they put the fields out and fill them when they have a hard time staying up. This field gets a C- (on Fridays). I'm not a complainer and I am not flaming the field out of spite. They earned this post by their own actions. This field has a business model that places customer satisfaction low on their priorities. There are others on PBN that were there who can vouch for what I am saying.

HSP is an ok park it is sort of ghetto with the dirt speed ball and the turf field is sort of ghetto to. There are a lot of nice regulars there but the noobs are usually the ones with an attitude. People don't really steel much there but i have had 3 cases of paint stolen. In all i would go to this park for walk ons but not speedball. When it is raining there are puddles everywhere u look.

I always go there but its only fun if u know people there. Other than that most A-holes go and it is really hard to play with idiots yelling at you. Still a good field ^^

Good field, but the refs can suck one. I got into it with the fat chubby girl yesterday. I would love to go head up with the refs.

I like HSP. I don't play speedball so I don't know anything about that. The senerio fields are pretty nice but there are a lot of butt heads there. There are tons of pump players there too, probably because it cost $60 for a box of procaps. The referees do suck but come of them are cool. The place is definitely way over priced but thats why I got tickets and if anyone needs any, let me know. It is true when they say to go with friends or make friends there, it makes all the difference.

Went there on July 3rd. It wasn't so bad, but dusted off an old autococker Gen X my bro gave me from 4 years ago........ Needless to say it broke esp since I didnt know jack about it.
Field was ok I guess, but I only really have like 3 fields to compare it to. The prices of paint on non BYOP days is way too high...
