Teardrop owners plz reply

I am getting a custom 98 and i want a new barrel because i have heard that the factory barrel sucks. I was wondering what teardrop owners think of their gun. Or if you know of any other good barrels for under 70 dollars suggest them.

Thanks

when looking at barrels they all pretty much are the same.. now some are not the greatest but most of the main stream barrels will do you just fine.. you cant go wrong with a single stage CP or J&J barrel for under $50. the two stage barrels (tear drop, AA, boomer, etc) will make the gun a bit quieter and also add some different styling to the gun.. just rember to get the bore size to match whatever paint you will be using most of the time.

All of my friends use the Tear Drop... Its a pretty nice barrel, quiets the gun down a little, but its still loud. Shoots pretty nice, sort of cleans itself when paint breaks in it. I have used the Tear Drop on a bunch of guns, including my M98, and I own the CP one piece... I really do like the CP better, its quieter then the Tear Drop, I love the price... Its only like $50 which is quite a deal... And its pretty darn accurate, Shoots B.E. paint like a charm The CP Barrel is considered the poor mans boom stick.
