Meh, I wouldn't do that to the Quattro, I appreciate it too much.
I'm playing a bit of Devil's Advocate here, but you never know.

Not VAG, but reminds me of the RWB styling, and if I were to ever drive a Japanese car it would be this.

Just picked up my first car: Phantom Black 2010 CPO S5 Premium+ 4.2 V8 with B&O and Nav/Tech Pkg.

Featherlight, I remember talking to you about your S4, decided to go the coupe route. Haven't looked back.

Plan is:
20% Tint
AWE Track Exhaust
ECodes
RS5 grill
HID Fogs
BBS CH-Rs in Titanium

Thoughts on mod list for the car? I'm debating throwing some kind of tune in there too but I've read tune is kind of a waste on the 4.2.

I agree tune is a waste. Ecodes are very expensive. I had my lights taken apart and painted black. Only cost me $100 vs another zero for e-codes. Take the extra money and put it in to some seriously nice wheels. The S5 has better offsets and really looks amazing on some nice wheels. Either deep dish or concave whatever flavor you prefer. I don't think the CHR really takes advatage of the S5s offsets, they look very conservative on S5s. AWE exhaust is nice, a friend of mine used to have it on an S5 and his car sounded very good.

CHRs have a fair bit of concavity if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the input though on the Ecodes.

Put the front bags in last night. The rears rub on the spring cup, so I just left it on coils until i can sort that out. Not too thrilled about that, but I am happy that the majority of the work is done. I think I am going to have to sell the bags i have for the rear and find some tapered sleeves. The other option is grinding down the spring cup sides and denting in the subframe. Yes, VW people do that ****. I refuse.

I take it you did not buy an actual kit? I mean if you bought a kit and still had those issues...

I pieced one together. The rears are Uvair Airhouse II's on D-Orbits D-cup brackets. They're very common on mk4 vw's. I guess more people are just way more willing to shave off parts of their car than I am.

When i bought them, they came as a package with the compressor, tank, and some other stuff and I just decided to roll with it because they seemed to common. Installation proved otherwise.

Miro 111's are very similar and I've heard good things about them. Probably half the price too.

staggered wheel size doesn't matter if OD is the same. At least that's what I always understood

Thought I heard miros were soft. Wanted those 111s for my M5, but was too nervous to get them. Seems a lot of people bend/crack wheels with the roads around here. Thus was really set on getting a big name wheel. Though I don't think that guarantees anything either, a guy I know cracked a set of like $10k HRE S107s. Though they did fix them under warranty and turn it around in like 2 days which is pretty good on their part. My BBS have held up well so far I think *knock on wood*

Yep,

Decided against the A4. Too many pre existing problems.

Ended up getting a E46 for a daily. 330I with Navi and sport package for a few hundred more.

Its the odd blue/silver color. 5 speed, needs a little TLC but it only has 93k on it compared to the a4 with 136. Also no lights or Misfire problems.

Im gonna have my dent guy at work do the quarter. Fairly clean other than that.

I was planning on that. I heard around 100k is when you want to do it.

The filter housing is leaking as well. Ill probably tackle both some weekend.

yeah my cooling stuff started to fail at 75k from age. Look into replacing the plastic parts with metal.
