Knee pads

I absolutely destroyed my knees at my last practice and decided I needed to invest in knee pads, which I usually didn't concern myself with because my old pants had great knee padding.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm a pretty big guy and I'm afraid they'll just slide down.

I play d-wing, d-side if that helps.

See if you can go to a local paintball store to try some on. That will probably be your best bet.

I've had great success with the empire ground pounders. not too tight, and don't slide down my legs

I have the dye knee pads but they seem to hold me back a little.I think i will try volleyball knee pads because i hear Lot of people talking about the flexibility in those

I use the Empire Grind knee pads and they're my favorite so far.
Edit: They have velcro

Best bet is to go try a bunch on.

I'm using the Dye pads and they're great. They're a little tight, but in the sense that they provide knee support. I feel like mine have broken in and most of the time I don't really notice they're there.

Planet eclipse pads, after their broken in, are amazing! My friends have dye pads, they love them to! Try them on and see what fits.

Get to a store and test fit them, but I'm a fan of the Eclipse Knee pads, I've used Evil, EMpire and Dye and liked the Eclipse ones the best, but to each their own.

No question - Valken Impacts

I put mine on, put my pants on over them, and I promptly forget all about them until it's time to take them off to go home. They are literally that comfortable and slip-free...

The elbow pads are just as good...

I have empire ones that slip a little bit, so I wrap a small amount of tape around them and after that, they are great. I forget they are there and I abuse the hell out of them.

Ill toss my vote in for Eclipse. I used an older dye pair before and was not impressed, not dissapointed but just meh. The eclipse ones are large enough to cover everything and tight enough to not move too much. Best advice has already been given though, tey them on if possible.

Empire Grinds. Fall down about half an inch or so in my normal 8 hour play day.

I can't say enough good things about my Sly S12 knee pads. Great padding, don't slip and very comfortable.

I really like my eclipse ones. At first they would sometimes slide a little which was annoying. But I barely ever have a problem now that their broken in.

+1 on the volley ball knee pads. no one can see them... why spend 40 when you can spend 10

I've been using under armor volleyball knee pads for a couple years and they work great... Occasionally slide down but not much... I am going to get a set of dyes this year tho... I like the Velcro aspect to keep them up. Also they provide significantly more coverage than VB pads... Eclipse are nice too!

I have to through in my vote for the eclipse as well, I rocked a few different styles of Empire knee/shin guards and the all fell apart and had mad slippage. I would have to pull them up after every two or three points. I been rocking the eclipse ones for a tourney and a lot of practices and ZERO issues and no signs of wear or tear yet.
That's my 2 cents.
