Buddy has an AMG from back in the day and he was looking into getting it up and running again to start playing. For the life of me I cant figure out what is wrong with it. When we case it up and cock it, when you pull the triger the bolt comes forward and nothing. I oiled it and replaced the battery and still the same thing. The gun has sat for a long time probably close to 5 years. I was hoping you guys may have a simple fix for me.

Take out the bolt/ hammer and look down the bottom tube and make sure the rubber bumper isn't in there

Otherwise sounds like there's no air coming in to the valve, so if there's a regulator in the fore grip then make sure it's turned up, and if the air adapter had an on/off knob the make sure it's turned on also

There is no air going through the valve body and through the bolt. I'd recommend this.

1.) Check your ASA. If it has an On/Off valve, make sure it's in the On position.
2.) If you have a gas-thru grip, skip this step. If you have an aftermarker regulator on it, which I doubt, make sure it's letting air pass through.
3.) Check the valve body itself to make sure it's in good condition.

Remember, the striker has to hit the valve pin to let air pass through. Check to make sure the striker is properly placed in the bottom tube of the body.

Another good thing to Check on these old spydet sis if your bottom line/Asa/reg is stock on that amg.

1. Remove the line fitting from the asa. Then remove the little copper filter they used to stick in there. Those filters end up getting clogged and doing more harm than good anyways.

2. I don't remember which directions adjust those stock bottom line regulators but make sure it is adjusted correctly I believe it is adjustable from 0-800 psi. And I think the stock amg can run on 4-500 totally stock.

It's been a while but if its all stock that shod do the trick
