after moving a few times and not playing for a few years all my guns needed a good dose of TLC, everything rubber or elastic is pretty much toast, had to buy new o-rings for just about everything, new mask straps, etc


sucks, dont let your gear sit for too long :-(


Edit: and on the 3rd fill on my HPA tank, my BRAND NEW fill nipple failed because the o-ring failed, basically turned into several flat half-moon pieces...damnit

Thanks i will keep that in mind all my gear is usually in the house at a cool 72 at all times. I will try to keep them in a climate controlled space not in the hot garage

Im fine with replacing orings, I always have spares. 4 98 rebuilds kits are $4.50 on oringsonline. And 98 kits works with almost all tippys minus A5 valves.

my o-ring kit deteriorated the same way, probably dried out when i lived in AZ for 2 years.... anyhow they are cheap like you said, makes it easy, i payed $10 for a 3x kit for my pm6

Choice. Where I live its near impossible for me to find work. No licence and my mom cant drive me and I havent talked to my dad since 2010 cause hes an ***. Im 3miles from Walmart tight now. I could bike there in 5 minutes with how flat it is here.

5 days wthout a single post!? I had to dig out my gear to test it out tomorrow for my first game, next sunday, in over a year. I suspect my X7 will still be spot on, I keep it uncocked and lubed. I hope it works, it has the air thru stock and its a ***** to remove/replace. In also bringing my modified stockclass phantom to mow some muppets and show them not to underestemate the chubby old guy.

I let me EGO9 sit for a ~year and it shot ropes with grime and ****. I didn't even clean it after that lol

Who knows how old my pro carbine is and I have only took it apart once to clean it. Just flush it out with water and air dry always works for me
