Clone GT Bolt stick

Hey guys, Just got my brand new Clone GT in the mail yesterday and took it out to the chrono to test it out and break it in.

The first issue I am having is I absolutely cannot get rid of the first shot drop off. I have tried dwell settings from 12 all the way to 16, as well as tried turning on anti bolt stick on each of those settings as well. I have cleaned and relubed the drivetrain 3-4 times now and also tried using techt gun sav lube as well. After the first shot, i get about 280 +/- 15 with the occasional jump just over 300 which seems just a bit out there (also tried multiple paints). I also took apart the reg (just the basic maintenance, I did not go any deeper into it) and cleaned and relubed but have not seen an changes in performance with that either. At this point I have about two cases through it as well as a full 68/45 dry fired just to give you an idea of where I am at.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, CPL event #1 tomorrow!

(already posted this at macdevmilitia but can probably get a quicker response on here)

make sure you dont have to much lube. and make sure your using the new militia lube in a tube. Should get better in a couple of cases I would think.

Use militia lube. Fire a couple tanks of air with your detents out. Maybe 3 if you really want to be sure. Also take out your bumper oring because firing 2 or 3 continuous tanks can make it freeze up and break sometimes so to be sure take it out. Then relube and see if it's gone away. To make it go by as fast as possible I recommend full auto 20 BPS. Make sure your bore fit is consistent. Just because a few are tight or loose doesn't mean some are off. Make sure every ball is either underbored or overbored so try 15-20 to be sure. You may also want to change your bolt switch oring, your power tube orings and valve orings if this doesn't fix it then shoot more tanks through those new orings.

I have been using the pictures in this guide to make sure I am not over lubing. hoping it does, is there a specific o-ring that would be causing it more than others? perhaps I can change that o-ring and see if it helps? Also tried a brand new duracell as well as the stock battery but will go out and buying another new one today and see if that could help

Sounds like some of your orings are far too tight or under lubed xistence

As 98Pro said, you may have an o-ring or multiple that are too tight.

Powertube (both)
Bolt keg inner/spacer inner
Bolt switch

Slide the bolt by hand over the o-rings, one o-ring at a time, and see if the bolt slides smoothly without too much resistance. If any have a lot of resistance, you can replace them trying to find an o-ring that has a little less friction.

Make sure to use enough lube, as well as the new Militia Lube and you should be good.

After you get over 5 cases or so through new o-rings, you shouldn't have much trouble with FSDO as long as the o-rings aren't overly tight.

While you're at it, check your valve o-rings and make sure those are somewhat snug, but not too snug. Should be able to slide the valve back and forth without too much effort, but you don't want it to just fall out if you turn the valve keg upside down.

Yeah Eric told me on the valve orings when you flick the bolt to make sure you lubed it good that when you return the bolt you should feel the bolt pushing the valve back in place as the valve should have stayed put.
