I still play every weekend with meh team. Although I won't lie; my interest in paintball has declined over the past few years.

My wife isn't really into it she would be if I didn't spend a small fortune on PB.

That is unfortunate. At the last game I played my gf (been with for 7 years, so like wife) made hotdogs for all of the teams.

She plays too, along with my oldest son. But the place we play at is more like a park than the typical pb field.

I have been playing since '98. Played once a month at a boys home I was at on the property till 2000. Went home(ran away actually) and got my own spyder compact, and played woodsball till 2003, then got into speedball.

Played rec every other weekend till 5 of us rec ballers formed a team and went to our first tourney in july 2004. Then an indoor arena was made in 05 in erie pa(JAW ltd), we played several tourneys there and then joined east pa, west ny pb league.

Been together playing since then and just ended our seasona little over 2 months ago. Have played only rec since then and try and play at local pb feild(former scrap metal feild converted) every here and there with local new players with thier ions and new kingmans they got from our local pb shop.

I played back in high school but now funds are tight and I couldn't honestly call spending this much money on a hobby financially responsible.

i play about once a week with my team.
im younger then most of the people in here so i'm just getting into the hardcore scene after about 4-5 years of playing, ya know, trading out my crappy gear for high-end gear.

i know what you guys mean, PB is like the most expencive sport.
but it's just to fun to quit, a deadly combonation...

my teams getting a few sponsors (including a paint sponsor! yes!) this season, which should lighten the load a bit on all of us.
