Could you guys explain this vaping stuff to me? I understand that its a "vaporizer" and you inhale whatever you are vaporizing, but exactly what are you vaporizing? Is it a substitute for cigarettes?

I don't understand it either, and having had asthma issues throughout my life its funny to me to see drones of kids picking it up likes because its cools yet its not exactly healthy. Not saying its killing anybody but the attitude just makes me shake my head.
Basically the vapor or steam is water, however propylene glycol is one of the main components as well, which has been not been determined to be dangerous though contact or consumption in humans (as of yet) no major test or concerns have brought it up to warrant further testing I suppose.
However the reason its used is because propylene glycol does a good job of suspending stuff in water; the aroma in perfumes, the medicine your inhalers, the flavor in your vapor, ect. This quality however that people love to preach is cool to puff on (which seems to be a lot of) is also the very same reason engineers chose to use this chemical in your brake systems since forever now.
Now is a better product? It has potential, Obviously the health concerns to second hand exposure have almost been eliminated as it seems to dissipate much faster, especially a noticeable difference in room spaces compared to smokers. The fragrance is preferable to cigarettes. There is no staining of anything that I'm aware of, better for your cars, curtains, clothes, and teeth to start. The big one however is they load many of the "juice" with nicotine for those addicted to cigarettes, as we all know by know the primary addictive component in cigarettes. From what seems to be a form of base studies that I've look over this alone has helped smoker quit for real in some fashion. I'm not really sure, how that is justified as they are still usually addicted to nicotine, enough time really hasn't passed to say, but it looks good. Like I said I'm more worried about the younger generation starting a new habbit.
