everything is stuck on my pmr

I just traded my dm4 for a rail. I shot it and it worked fine except for the eyes were broken. I took it home and went to take it apart (im fermiliar with the matrix family guns) and could not get the bolt, or all the parts conected to the bolt out of the back of the gun (i could take the back cap off but thats it.

I also encountered a problem with the back of the gun. I realized that out of the 4 very small grub screws 2 had fallen out and two were still firmly in place but they wew facing the direction so that the allen key was facing out so that I could access it.

What should I do? Are the positions of the grub screws facing the corect direction? is their something I dont know about taking everything out the back? please help.

the back cap should have brought everything out. The screws should have been securly holding the back cap. so, hmmmm

If the screws worked themselves out then the other screws might be backed out to where they are latching onto the body inside the marker. One screw should be slightly out (the one that faces down), it acts as a guide into the marker so that your bolt doesn't get spun around in the body.

I'm not sure if this would work so don't hold me responsible, But take the barrel off and see if you can push the bolt and guide out the back from the front of the marker with a squegee (I've done it with shockers without probs). If your screws are keeping the bolt from coming out don't get too aggressive because if it is that case then you'll scratch up the insides. This is my .02cents.

Anyone else got any ideas?

What the hell??? You got scammed. Those are signs that somebody royally ****ed their PMR over, couldn't fix it themselves, and then dumped it on you.

Get your DM4 back before they break it too. Next time buy new.

I loled.

Anyhoo, it sounds like whoever had your PMR before you didnt take very good care of it. I'm sure you can call dye and they will send you a few more of those little screws that are missing. You should be able to push the bolt out of the back with a barrel swab or some similar device. Once you have the bolt out you should be able to just re attach the back cap correctly and you'll be good to go.

Sure it -can- be fixed, but with the pmr in that bad of a condition over such a short period of time, is it WORTH fixing? (no) What else did the guy do to the gun? what else is broken, or waiting to break soon?

everything is fine except for that. I dont really care. I bought the dm4 for $170 and traded it strait up and the pmr has as ul barrel. Fortunately I know an amazing matrix tech (actually like 2 or 3) that should be able to fix it. Then i gotta sell it cause im on the pbc home team and am probably get a gun sponsorship.
