Is the OP accurate for tuning for a pooty-mod 2.0 core with rhino spring as well? (Not pink/blue pooty set)

Yup, information remains relevant regardless of bolt/spring/can combination used. Pro's & Con's remain the same. Im still here, just do more forum lurking than tech'ing as of late.

I've been busy with school and haven't gotten around to it yet--will your everyday set of allen keys that comes with a marker, or dye multitool, have the manifold screw size? Or do I need to go buy one? .050, am i correct?
Additionally, what is the difference between a manifold and ft? Is it something you buy and put it, or does a luxe have both? One or the other?
EDIT: Searched and found answer to my above question, which brings up a new one--is it more beneficial to have the ft in or out? (1.0 with 2.0 pooty core with rhino). Does it just affect cycle rate? Will that change what settings I use? Marker is quite a few years old and broken in, and I'm from Canada--if that makes a difference.

Hi,
im having a hard time to understand the meaning if Flush.
it mean fully close (clockwise directions) as starting point until it stops.
then turn about 4-5. (anti-clockwise) for the tuning.
Correct?

Flush means the part of the screw facing you is screwed counterclockwise towards you so that the top of it is even (or flush) with the surface of the thing it's screwed into.
It's not the same as flush like flushed down to the bottom.
EDIT: Dude question, is Malay your first language?

Your English made me wonder, so I looked and it says you're in Brunei, which is on the island of Borneo right?! To think that they have paintball there is awesome.

Hey guys, im a bit confused here, I have a Luxe 2.0, about 5-6 cases through it and I want to tuned it. But here my main ''problem'', my fsd compensation is factory settings to 20ms, why lower year luxe have a lower fsdo settings (7ms) ? I currently turn clockwise 3 times my manifold screw, upped my dwell to 14ms but dont want to play with fsdo since its not the same as you guys... Dont want to screw things up !
Help please ?

So I screwed in my manifold all the way and my luxe definitely shoots smoother and still has a consistent stream without drop off. Is that supposed to work like that? On my old luxe it was about 5 turns and it started dropping off.

For those of you new to or just got a new luxe and want to tune it. Don't touch anything until you've put 12-15 cases through it. You want to break in the gun on the settings dlx sent you. Those settings will work forever so long as you stay up to date on regular maintenance. Problems begin to arise when people start tinkering. That's not to say that tinkering is a bad thing or you shouldn't do it, it's just that breaking in the gun properly allows maximum gains from tuning and will increase the longevity of your marker.
